New to Essential Housing Tools: What should I know before I start?

Hello,
I am new to EHT and am about to build a crafting house. I will be watching tutorials, but I have some questions even before then that I would like to ask:
- What are the "best practices" you have found when working with EHT?
- What do you know today that you wish you knew when you started with EHT?
- Is there a way to make letters/signs using EHT? I want to put letters up for the crafting station circuit for where the next letter starts as a guide. It is OK if this required EHT to view.

seecodenotgames✭✭✭✭✭I only recently realised that when you use the build arrows it moves in the relative direction of the character's eyes, not the camera, so if the character is in third person mode and facing to the left then the forward will be in the directionthe character is looking, not forward from the screen. It took me a long time to figure this out.
Also I found out that the directional arrows on the build tab are not the same as the ones on the selection tab. If you move and object using the selection arrows and then change the build paramters it would move back to the start. If you use the arrows on the build tab and centre the build, when you rebuild the paraemters it stays in the correct place.
I believe you can create text using objects in this addon, but you can also use the FX to place actual text instead of items. This doesn't count towards your item limit, but will only be visible to people who use the community app with the addon.Houses on PC EU (newest first)70.
