Interesting to see April 2018 - Dec 2018 the rewards being offered versus now. Steep cut off of meaningful rewards. Just an observation, nothing more.

The incessant screeching put a stop to most of the crown crates and free DLC.

Sometimes people would be better off keeping quiet.

Based on the monthly forum topics on the subject it seems like the general consensus is absolutely everthing included is trash and not worth having, except crown crates. That holds until the day the crates are given out and opened, then everything which comes from them is trash and not worth having.

Sometimes players even say they wish they could just delete the stuff they got from login rewards/crates, or stop recieving it all together. (And it's not just an empty threat, I know of at least a few cases where people have actually contacted support to get items removed from their collections, myself included.)

So I guess if you like any of the login rewards you should just be glad they're not updated based on player feedback, because if they were the most likely outcome would be to discontinue the entire system and go back to giving us nothing.

I mean literally asking for stuff to be removed from collections is just being absurd. Let it sit in collections and rot. Its all mostly useless but its still something. I get that. It was fun getting crates, mounts, and riding skill books though.

And now I can see midst of the month already that I will miss out on 3000 telvars - this is even worse than getting nothing.

    Complaining about free stuff??

The audience for the login rewards is mainly new players ... which the game has really benefited from in the last calendar month.

Along with many other players, I disagree the rewards are no longer "meaningful".

For example, I still have characters to level. I have enough XP scrolls to fully level multiple characters with a constant XP buff 1-50.

In my case it was an extreme, and hopefully one-off, exception. I got a spider pet from a free crown crate. I'm arachnophobic so even having it sitting there unused and seeing it when I went to select another pet was creepy. So I contacted support to ask if they could delete it and they did. If it had been anything else I'd have just left it there and never used it, which is exactly what I do with a lot of the stuff in my collections, but I draw the line at spiders, to me getting nothing is far better than getting a spider.

I've since heard that other people did similar things with items they really hated having, but as far as I know it's always a one-off. I imagine if anyone asked too often Support would just refuse to do it...or just ignore them entirely.

I just thought it was worth mentioning that "I'd delete this if I could" isn't always hyperbole or an empty threat.

Gotcha, thanks for sharing. Sometimes we forget everybody has their own battles.
