Have to run a repair EVERY patch...anyone else?

Anyone else come across this fun phenomenon? I have to run a repair on the launcher or else it takes about 5 minutes to "log me out" of a character then times out and I have to re-log in/password and all that jazz. If I run a repair it's totally fine after that but if I don't, goodbye normal log out/log in times. Anyone else?

BTW it does the "connection to server timed out". I'm sitting there staring at my last character I logged out on for roughly 5 minutes before I see a load screen for 10 seconds then the timeout error message.

Nope. No problem (you didn't specify platform....) - though as always the first loading screen after a patch is quite long (on PC) compared to any others I get - the after patch one is around 2-3 minutes, rather than 20 seconds for normal.

When I tried to log on yesterday, the launcher loaded really really slow. Then said I had to repair.

I thought: I do not want to do this all over again. So I switched my PC off and on, and the magic happened: Instant loading of the launcher, and no issues with downloading the patch.

So I advice you to try that trick at least once, before doing the repair.

If you on PC:
Don't use the launcher to start the game. No need for that. Use this sh... only for download the patch.
Download the patch. Close the launcher.
Start the "eso64.exe" as admin.
I do this since beta. Never run in such problem.

I'm on pc and the launcher does it's work properly - no issues at all.

I'm on PC. My bf doesn't have to do this and he's on PC as well. By the next day it's fine, it's only on patch days.
