PLEASE take down the server for a month or even longer if u need just to fix this game. A YEAR if thats gonna fix this.
Are ZOS doing this to close the game down or wth is going on?
The game are so broke now, both pvp and pve after update 25 and nothing for fixing it?

Take down Cyrodiil by all means, and Trials/dungeons too if they're unplayable and those who play those parts of the game are in agreement with the idea. However, there's no reason to take down the rest of the game which is fine, even on PC EU, for most players judging by the record numbers in the game.
Note the words "some", "should" and "slightly". Crashes and lag will still occur. They might have a proper fix for this coming, but this is not it.Made some improvements that should slightly decrease the amount of crashes and general lag in areas with lots of combat.
Yo do realise that Q1 Q2 and Q3 patches main focus is fixing lag right? It might not have been very successfull this quarter due to the main focus was reducing the game size and removing useless code which has made the game laggier. We can only hope that the greymoor patch comes with some lag fixes as well instead of destroying the game like last patch.

I wanted to just facepalm this idea; but you know what? I think it could be telling in a few ways. One being on whether they can get by without the end game. The other being what overland would look like if those players actually stayed and flooded those areas rather than Cyrodiil or raids.

The effort required to do this would be better utilized fixing the problems.
The lag is not getting fixed. They would need to spend a fortune upgrading servers as well as game coding to make a change and this late into the game’s lifecycle and that’s not going to happen.
From my point of view this patch is no improvement

A couple years ago, I said the same thing, with the caveat that they might do it as part of development of a new MMO game. Today, ZOS is actually spending the money on performance. Yeah, it is broken, at the moment, but it is broken because they are spending money on performance. People see 'broken' as "ZOS can't fix their game" but I see that is "ZOS is fixing their game". It just takes time, and because of the way ZOS rolls out updates, we get to see it sooner, when it works, and the bugs, when it doesn't.
A lot of this will never satisfy some people, either. They will never get the latency low enough, or the FPS high enough, to satisfy every vocal corner of the player community. Much of what people call lag is never going to change. That can be caused by a number of things, from local crappy internet (which no one has), to internet routing, to the DDoS service they have to use because people on the internet are jerks, to the fact that they are running centralized megaservers rather than regional servers. ZOS is not going to "fix" those things.
Oh ok, that makes sense.

Wait. The 125GB I had to download the other day was ESO after the size was already reduced?!
