Anticipation of larger than expected players due to COVID19

Good Morning,
Based on the tweets, facebook posts, and the news posts i've seen ZoS wasn't expecting such a large flux of new and/or returning players due to the coronavirus causing everyone to "stay at home", I just wonder, well, hope, that they are at least anticipating a much larger influx of new players when the expansion releases next month, let's be honest, the pandemic isn't going to disappear by then and i'm willing to bet a lot of people are going to pick up the expansion and give ESO a try...
I am praying they are ready for it, and when I say ready, they ramped up the number of toasters they have running the servers, this current lag is miserable and will probably just get worse if they aren't planning for a LARGE increase of players... ???

✭✭The servers were struggling before the lockdowns. I don't think the servers can cope with the success the game has had.

But only as long as I had my crowns, my crown items and my collectibles including armour styles.

Crowns are much cheaper on the n.a. server. I bought the banker, merchant and dlc's with gold, amongst other stuff.
If you do decide to swap over, send me a friend invite @luton0watford4 and I will invite you to the EU refugee guild.
