Upgraded my computer and black silhouettes are gone! :)

guidorocker
I used to see black silhouettes of people in town waiting for things to load.

In combat, the MoB would attack me before I could even see them.

I upgraded to a new high end computer, and all that went away! I wish I would have known this a year ago or more.

Do people still see Black silhouettes? If so an upgrade may be in your future. It will help greatly.

 no... I upgraded my set up about 2 months a go like you.

but i do still have ridiculous skill delay or skills not firing in end game content.

I have fibre optic, on a wired connection, port forwarded. I've done as much as I can... ZOS needs to do their bit now.

I have a mobile connection on WiFi, the modem has a sim card in it, my laptop is from last year August and I don’t have these issues.
That’s why the whole demand of ZoS to ‘fix it’ isn’t that simple, it’s not a problem that can be reconstructed so easily.

Do you participate in end game content? i.e. trials and PVP? if you watch any stream playing anywhere near prime time it is obviously something that is effecting everyone defintely yourself included if you are playing the content effected. It is mostly unnoticeable in overland and dungeon content.

The black silhouettes are not caused by the player's hardware but mostly from the game server. It was acknowledged at the ESO event that took place in summer I think where they announced the performance improvement plan, by a member of the ZOS staff and supposedly were going to be fixed with the patches. Ofc, a new build may help by speeding up things from your side.

They are caused by crappy HDDs, investing 50$ for 256gb SSD will make them go away :)

I do PVP, battlegrounds and Cyrodiil, I even do trials, but no, it isn’t an all round problem as easily reconstructed as you think. While I recognise the problems happen, I don’t have them.
