It's the Dragon Bones DLC showdown as FANG LAIR battles SCALECALLER PEAK! Who will earn the right to call themselves the real Dragon Bones OG? YOU DECIDE!

A list of the overall action for BOTH the base and DLC competitions can be found HERE, so people can get a quick glance at the overall action.

All fights will go for TWO DAYS and end at 8PM CST (or your timezone equivalent; figure it out) so this one will end on Friday, April 10th.

    Both are really good dungeons, and although Fang Lair's aesthetic is more dreary than Scalecaller, the former's Hard Mode is a lot more fun than the latter, and there isn't anything frustrating in Fang Lair's HM unlike Scalecaller's poison storm.

    Fang Lair is awesome: the atmosphere, mechanics, even the trash fights are challenging, and the voice acting is suitably creepy. A very grandiose dungeon, fun, and challenging. But I just love Scalecaller Peak: the environment, the fact that it's more compact, the fights were amazing, and Zaan is one of the best bosses in the entire game. Not just the mechanics and design of the fight, but her voice acting, chilling and heart-breaking at the same time.

    Close call, but I like the boss fights in Scalecaller Peak better. There are at least two fights in Fang Lair that I don't think are fun at all (the first one with the waves of trash, and the second one with the bear, tiger and guar), whereas in Scalecaller Peak pretty much all boss fights are memorable, even if the giant matron can be basically burned while ignoring mechanics now. In terms of ambiance I also prefer scaling up the mountain to reach Zaan than the dreary caves and ruins of Fang Lair.

    In spite of all the nostalgia around spending so much time in FL trying to get HM done for the personality, my vote goes to SCP. Both have interesting boss fights and a few fun mobs in between (from exploding skeevers to the flaming bone colossus' weirdly timed one-shots). They're both really great dungeons.
    What pushes SCP to the top spot is the visual side. FL just flatlines in that regard while SCP has some really nice-looking corners.

    YMMV, but I would rank FL's random holes in hard-to-see ghost walls at least as frustrating as the poison.

    This was the best DLC dungeon by a country mile. Both are excellent, but i'm going to go with Fang Lair. I have to many bad PUG memories from Scalecaller Peak.
