i need help with the new characters

I bought the base game at launch on the eso store (pc) and i would like tu buy a new copy of the game (the one that has all the new chapters, it is cheaper tu buy each individual upgrade, plus its on sale) i was wondering if i buy a new copy of the game either on the eso store or steam, would i be able to keep my characters and crwons?

I would guess at no, as your account already has a game registered to it. I don't know your finances, but AFAIK you get access to all DLC with a sub for eso plus, you get perks and the access, and you get to keep your crowns and current progress
