Not really shocked by this. Every business right now is behind schedule due to the current situation.... sucks.

yea might suck for people that have to take their vacations now

Just hope they can give a clearer date soon so that people that have to take time off can at least plan around it...not like youre gonna travel much...

However delayed it might be, the safety of their team is priority and we as players should support that

Let's put it like this: when the situation around May/June is still like this, lots of people will be at home anyway. And if the lockdown should be loosened until then, I guess people will be happy about that, and not being able to binge play the new chapter would be a very small price for that. :)

So still no Acknowledgement about performance issues.. Which I would say is way bigger issue currently than missing voice actors or delaying mere week of chapter.

this was acknowledged several times, including regular updates on their performance improvement maps

I have no problem with this. Dear Elder scrolls players, we have to support this situation.

Not surprised, the whole world is delayed right now. They extended the timeline here in Quebec to May already. My wife’s company extended theirs through the end of May. She’s working from home while I sit here playing ESO all day right now. All of my work is contract work so I’m out of a job until all this passes. Lucky for us we don’t have kids, car payment, mortgage or CC bills to pay though the crown store deal was tempting 😉

Because they have a reason and a solution to voice acting delays. It's simple to provide an update for things you know. They have neither a reason nor a solution for performance issues so they'll say little.

Pretty sure Zos HQ is in Maryland. Governor Hogan is fining and jailing people they catch driving that shouldn't be out. Sucks game is delayed but the part that got me was the hinting of performance problems due to the high population. We will know the performance has been crap waaaaaay before the virus hit.

I am really glad that they are putting their employee's health first.
I am not remotely surprised or disappointed that they have delayed the chapter.

Really was hoping they would take this opportunity to acknowledge and update us on the horrific performance though...
I would love to hear the engineers are isolating together

You do realize there are entire posts and an update schedule ONLY for performance updates, right? Go check that out.

Well said. Sometimes we get so infatuated with the "make things better for me right now" mentality that we lose sight of the bigger picture.

I have nothing against it. As far as I'm concerned, they can delay for July-August, just to improve servers performance and prepare the launch to be as smooth as possible.
This is fine. We all know that rushed releases always fail.

Their employees health and safety come first during this these times. It’s more important than content releases and performances fixes.

It's good that they're not rushing the chapter, and also that they are taking care of staff and having them all work from home.

Good, gives them more times to realize most of the incoming changes will ruin the game for anyone who isn't a role player or a quester.

and we would still gat the offical lunch on june 2nd

But safety first, we dont want some one to die for a chapter,

Don't seem to have read what that "travesty" was... It was a test, a suggestion, and that was it. Very early stuff... They never said it was going to live servers to begin with. That's exactly why it was an of cycle pts thing.

You also don't seem to be aware that is not coming to live at all on U26... Confirmed by devs here on the forums

So yeah... Read better, read more.

You know what could be done in this time? Coders can work remotely and actually fix some stuff!
