Crazy Lag In Guild Banks

What's with the insane spike in the amount of time it takes to access (view) the contents of guild banks suddenly? They've always been a bit slow compared to personal banks, but the last few days have just been ridiculous. And I'm not even going to get into the amount of time required to withdraw and deposit items...

More seriously, yes, guild bank has been terribly slow. I am attributing it to increased server load, and they likely prioritize the guild bank much lower than everything else.

It really has been awful. I'm so used to seeing "waiting on previous request" that I'm probably going to start seeing it in my sleep.

They were talking about this on the news this morning but this is an article its like two or three weeks old I linked down below.
Basically there is so many people at home and using the internet some websites actually were forced to slow things down. what this means is there is so many people using the internet n some areas its actually slowed down in and this I think is contributing to worsting latency in areas where it wasn't an issue. This might get worse and likely won't go away till things go back to Normal or start getting back to normal.

I don't think that this is an issue for the guild bank. I think that ZOS has some serious database performance and scalability issues. In other words, the problem resides inside the megaserver, not in any internet service or website external to the server.

I do think that this is an issue that contributes to "WebGet" and patcher problems, as these things come from a CDN, not from the ZOS game servers. I also think that people experience internet congestion (lag) that adds to the game latency, and may even result in dropped connections to the game server. None of this is guild bank related, though.

The issues with the banks and store have nothing to do with the internet. These issues have been around for months.
It's the mega server system, it's crap and zos knows it. Doubt these issues along with others we see every day will ever get fixed.
But damn, that crown store always works well. No joke there.

Can confirm, our guild wiped on Angier Stower's final form because of frame drops. Please keep the lag to Cyrodiil and trials but leave our banks alone.

They did some "improvements" to the guild store about a year ago. Suffice to say, it made it worse. It affected the guild bank too.
