A quest for better immersion - Is there a newer addon like the Free Dialog Camera?

Does anyone know if there's a newer, more compatible version of an addon that removes the camera change during dialogues?

A specific example:

I spent a good two, almost three hours on the website and came out empty, and the one I linked comes with errors, UI issues and visual bugs

I believe ntak dialogue has such an option 👍, and it has other nice features like keeping the history live in the dialogue window.
