One thing I don't think many have thought about, and if Zenimax didn't put in a block for this like they did Blade of Woe then a new form of Ganking play style one that would likely get cries for nerfs on the forms by many pvpers. If they didn't put in measures to prevent it then Lethal vampires will be roaming Cyrodiil looking for Necks and one shot feeding those they ambush. Even the most unkillable of tank builds couldn't avoid it if they are not careful.
Many players don't use vampire feed on other players likely do to the fact that starving is where they want to be. Feeding does no damage it just drains their blood through a straw animation. The New Vampire feed is the exact opposite, Not only is feeding one shot kill but feeding is what you want to be doing as a vampire. Unless your a nightblade or have some form of invisibility. It would be very difficult to feed on a player so this type of build would require some form of invisibility. If the new feeding mechanic effects players as well as npcs then expect to be munched on in Cyrodiil.
Players would have to watch out for Vampire Nightblades and prepare for it if the vampire feed is able to work as a anti player version of the blade of woe.
Feeding passive if this worked on players, Nightblade Gankers would be extremely deadly.
Allows you to feed on an unsuspecting target, killing them increasing your Vampire Stage. Higher Stages make you a strong Vampire at the cost of your humanity. Stages decrease over long periods of time.
Stage 1/2/3/4
Health Recovery: -10%/-40%/-70%/-100%
Flame Damage Taken: +5%/+10%/+15%/+20%
Regular Ability Costs: +5%/+10%/+15%/+20%
Vampire Ability Costs: -10%/-20%/-30%/-40%
Those would be draw backs but still can see Nightblade vampires being a meta for ganking builds that is if the new feed works on players along with npcs.
