Fresh install of ESO client stuck on Updating

Hello, I am having some difficulty installing ESO.
Here is an image of the issue I am dealing with.
The bar gets this far and just stops. I have waited overnight for it to install but it stays the same. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling as well as allowing my firewall access to the client. I would really like to purchase some things off the crown store before they expire.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I did a fresh install of windows and reformatted my C Drive wiping it completely. However I am still facing this issue.0 -
uncledomSoul ShrivenHey Kebplog can you give some information on how it got fixed? My frined is having the same issue after returning from the game for a few months break. He's tried all the usual troubleshooting but his error seems very similar to yours because his update bar stops in the exact same spot yours does.
Please let us know how you managed to get it fixed.
