cake furnishings - event tickets only?

I'm trying to decide what to spend my event tickets on and I want to prioritise items which aren't available any other way, but I'm not sure about the cake furnishings. (And can't seem to get a clear answer in-game because so many people confuse them with the mementos.)
Does anyone know if it's possible to get the cake furnishings from Jubilee Gift Boxes or by any other method or if they're only available with event tickets?

✭The cake for prior years' events can only be available via tickets, as I can't see the drop mechanism checking your mementos list. So I'd assume the current one would work the same way.
Perhaps more important is whether it's a collectible furnishing, meaning that you can have a copy in each home, or will they make us buy multiple copies?0 -
