Can’t pick up crafting writs

I have two separate toons that can’t pick up certain writs, and both are certified. One is alchemy and one is jewelry. I’ve tried visiting the quest gives and clearing my quest book but still can not pick up writs. Has any one had this problem before? What can I do?

Did you hand in yesterday's writs today? Because if so it might be a case not being able to accept the exact same writ on the same day as you handed it in.
If your jewelry was for say 'three platinum rings' yesterday and you handed it in today and the rng that assigns which today's writs are also gave you 'three platinum rings' today then it won't show for you. That's the gamble you take when you keep writs over night.

The daily writs on a 3 day cycle (other than Alchemy, which is 8), at maximum level. I'm not exactly sure on the rotation lengths at lower levels, but it's at least 3 days. So unless they had the writs from several days ago (not yesterday) that would be the issue.

No current crafing quest active, logged in and out on both characters and still can’t pick up the writ

The jewelry quest giver just asks me to research a trait and goes in a loop. The alchemy guy just talks about be a chef in curodill, and broiling fish, and then goes into a loop....

I did hand in yesterday’s writs today. I’m almost certain I’m certified. Checked with both quest givers

you don't talk to the quest givers to get the daily writs. They will be on boards posted in the cities. You only talk to them to get certified

Yeah I tired to pick up the writs from the boards. Went to the quest givers to double check because the writ wasn’t listed

I also have the problem on one of my characters. It is a character that I have had for almost a year and have done daily crafting almost every day. Today, I log in and I can not pick up the day's crafting quests from the board. I went to the mages and fighters guild and can not get the trainers to re-qualify me for the daily quests. All the suggestions to this point have already been tried. It must be a bug on the server side. I will file a bug report and see what happens.

I have just tried disabling all addons and I still can not pick up the daily crafting writs.
