I propose an alternative to more bank space here

    https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/289328/a-housing-proposal-gear-set-wardrobe

Instead of simply adding more bank space, why not use housing to introduce a gear wardrobe similar to a crafting bag, but for gear sets. You could purchase this wardrobe and add it to your house. Interacting with it would open up an interface listing all your gear pieces banked in your wardrobe as well as allowing you to arrange gear into specific sets for one button gear swaps with all your banked sets.

Is it possible to increase out bank capacity to say 500 or higher with ps plus or would that crash the game?

Create a guild, invite 9 friends to play ESO with you and have them join. They all eventually quit after two weeks because that is what happens 90% of the time, then capitalize on the free 500 guild bank space.

Would like to see something like FO4 and have display racks for weapons/armor in your home. The would be ideal for sets. Clear up more bank space for all these damn treasure maps!

Please add inventory capacity as a passive to the new treasure hunting skillines. That would make it worth it to progress for everyone.

Because the issue is till relevant?

That's the problem with kids these days, they live in a disposable world.

limited bank space is how they make money.

You are just going to have to stop hoarding and start selling more of your stuff.

Also, you can store stuff in your mail for 30 days. You can get 2 months if you list something on a guild store and it doesn't sell then it goes to your mail for another 30 days.

Doesn’t matter. Necro-ing threads is a no-no around here. Especially ones that are nearly 4 friggin years old. Start a new topic.

Just wanted to recap how much inventory space players actually have without the crafting bags ... since these kinds of threads get somewhat tiring:

8 characters with purchased bag upgrades (up to 140 each character) = 1,120 slots
4 additional character spots (brand new with Dark Brotherhood patch) with purchased bag upgrades (up to 140 each character) = 560 slots
    Mount bag space upgrades (12 mounts x 60) = 720 slots
Personal Bank space (with upgrades) = 240 slots

    Total: 2,640

Personal Guild Banks = 500 slots each (up to 2,500); limit of 5 guild banks

If a player doesn't have any personal guild banks, we're still approaching 2,700 inventory slots ... not including the crafting bags or stacked inventory.

So, the first question for any player feeling constricted on inventory ... have you hit 2,640 character and bank slots yet?

Those numbers are very misleading, nobody owns 5 guilds and can use the guild bank for their personal storage.
And not everyone is willing to spend money to create mules which are unplayable because their inventory is completely filled.

Not to mention the hassle if your bank is almost full and you have swap sets from one character to another.

I think there could be some adjustments how items stack or what goes into the crafting bag.
On my chars I usually have 80-100 slots of my 205 slot inventory filled with just consumables and items sets.
If consumables could stack higher or go to the crafting bag it would save a lot of inventory space.
Stuff like treasure maps and writs also take up a lot of space, maybe there could be a container to store them more efficiently.

You know what I would want way more then just adding bank space (which I would also want, just to make it clear)?

A "furniture bag". Doesn't have to be unlimited, but I would want something where we can store stuff if we ever switch one well cluttered homestead to a bigger, better one... can you imagine having to clear a characters inventory to move ALL that by hand???

Honestly Zo$ could rake in the $$$ just by giving a sub only unlimited space chest to put in your home. All our extra sets, maps, etc. I personally already have all the chests available but even with all of them I wouldn't be upset one bit.

It certainly doesn' t help having festivals that bring 3 new recipes 5 new kinds of furniture and a dozen of useless fun items all taking up inventory space.

    Agre that inv space is
    a) rather limited
    b) extremy uiser unfriendly

    * From other games I really miss things like seprate bags where you put your consumables and spare gear so everything you loot and find is put in an empty bag so you immediately know what's new and what's not.
    * But also stuff like radio buttons "all", "inventory" and "bank" when you are deconstructing.

The inventory system really needs an overhaul to be on par with the average MMO functionality.

There has never been more inventory space than there currently is, especially for those with Craft Bags. What would OP do if faced with the inventory limitations at game release? We made it work then, and now. It's not a matter of more bank space OP, it's a matter of you learning to prioritize and pare down to what you need, not hanging on to every bauble you find.

    confessions_of_a_pack_rat_by_zipple-d2yv6dr.png

Maybe thats how YOU like to play, or are able to play, but that is absolutely NOT how others like to play, such as the OP and myself.

I like to collect & keep all of the wonderful variety of gear available in ESO. Even attempting to do so I still find I have to re-grind for gear sometimes, because of course it is not possible to keep everything.

What do you care if I get to hoard gear and enjoy doing so? Why are so many so set on preventing others enjoying the game how they wish to, when it has no impact on them.

I think the recent pet that was in sale should indicate the future direction of any additional inventory space being made available.

You're not going to be given a solution to a problem when it can be sold to you. That's just business.

Yes. But I'm sure everything will be free and perfect in New World right...

I'm already sick to death of hearing about it.

Enjoy the first few months of it while they draw you in before sucking your wallet dry. We'll wait for you here on ESO until you get back.

If you think you're going to be able to do anything in that game for free long term then you are being very naive.

    Greetings,

We have closed this topic as it was originally created in 2016 and the information contained within may longer be relevant to the game. In many cases, it's better to create a new thread on a topic that you want to discuss as opposed to bumping one that is rather old.
