Mage's Wrath / Endless Fury need to be change...

Currently this skill is useful only for kill stealing which destroy any fun in this game many mag sorc just spam this ability and succesfully steal all kills mainly to their own group. It is simply not fun to have 2times more dmg then sorc and have half of kills. Problem is not in execute, but delay on execute is unhealthy sorc just use this skill and in 90% of cases he/she steals kill.. Can you change it to "standard" execute ability and make similar mechanic to Impale to encourage sorc use also some other ability..?

    No. Just make it proc off of Sorc dmg only. Done.
    No need to dilute class skills even more.

    I wish they would just remove it and replace it with something meaningful. I never liked this ability. It is unreliable in a real fight due to that 2 second delay before the lightning even hits and is only good for trolling in battlegrounds.

    That wish came up in me again recently as well. I was rather content with elemental weapons and force pulse as spammable. But any other class has those spammable, profiting from their various passives for slotting class abilities. Sorcerer looses this potencial for we have no such thing.

    I main Sorc and I agree. However I want the treshold to be changed to 25% then.

    It’s an execute you can pre-apply and then get someone down to the health threshold. I use it all the time in a burst combo but it is powerful.

    It’s the weakest execute in the game, both in magnitude and health threshold. Deserves a buff if anything.

    It is my experience that sorcs who get most of the kills also outdamage others in general. Due to the broken travel time this skill now has it doesnt hit reliably enough to warrant a nerf. Instead ask yourself why you dont have enough burst to get kills amd improve your build.

    So I did 801 K dmg and have 5 kills some steal kill sorc did 375 K and have 10 kills.. so I did more than two times of dmg and get half of kill ( I am not using Wrath is uselss skill only for steal kills )

    Another example this one is extreme when someone just use wraht for kill steals....

    in this case I did 436 K dmg and have 6 kills and sorc 236k dmg and have 12kills

    You are complaining that a teammate got more kills than you in a deathmatch? Who cares? It literally doesn't make a difference since the only important thing is whether you win or not. K/D ratio is irrelevant. That sorc is on your team finishing opponents. Literally a thing that any player of any class should be doing.

    Its simply not fun when someone steals all kills which should be yours by spamming delay execute.. and finally get more points than you.... Second he/she also weakening your team by focusing on kill steals rahter then use some serious dmg or team support skill. I perosonally play to have high K/D ratio and high win rate. on all my charakters, when I am not reach this ration on long run I try to find a different setup use different skill etc. That reason Why I play this pvp in this game.

    Thing is high damage with no finishing power isn’t necessarily better.

    Like on my MagWarden I’ll usually hit 800k damage and 200k healing, but a lot of that is aoe spam because of the nature on the class. To kill one person solo takes a while as a MagWarden.

    Conversely as a petsorc I’ll usually go like 500k damage and 500k healing, I’ll get high kills but only some are from kill stealing. Most of them are because I’m using a single target burst combo.

    Point is damage done doesn’t mean anything really.

    I think maybe just change the range, that’d be a good compromise. I‘ve noticed only stam and magsorc can really get 20+ kills just because they have the best executes. I’m sure it’s happened on other classes but it’s a lot more rare. Highest I’ve gotten as a MagWarden was 16 or so, and that’s just because it was a flag game so I was off solo a lot. I’ve gotten 19 as a magtemplar I think, but it was against all new players.

    My point I guess is if you nerf one execute then it’ll just create another issue with stam executes. Sort of like how people rotate which stuns they complain about. I like the execute mechanic in general and someone has to have the strongest one, why not magsorc? A range nerf wouldn’t effect pve and at least there’ll be some risk to use it.

    why would you change the range? that would make magsorc awkward, all of their other dmg abilities are max range. as it is you have to cast it 2-3 times just to get it to hit.
