free weekend any time soon?

Is there any indication of a free weekend at some point in the near future? I have a couple of friends who want to try the game out before buying it!

I hope not.

Performance is already in very bad state and to add even more people..

Haven't really paid focus on these free periods but I was not aware that there are totally free weekends, always thought those were only eso+ for free.

as far as I know, the last free play event that took place in November 2019 was completely free, you could install the game for a short time with no purchase required.

I think they offer both but not necessarily at the same time. Free base game access and Free ESO+ are different.

ESO is on XBOX Game Pass, ATM.

I really wanted to sub to ESO+ for a month while getting my daily writ game in order on all of my 17 alts during Jester’s Festival, so it would still be active during Anniversary Jubilee quest & materials mania - but I can hardly log in as it is - and those same issues seem to be affecting current ESO+ member on XBOX.

I want to give ‘em my money! Buuuut not in this state.
