Event EXP bonuses from various events stack?

anybody knows?

I'm not quite sure what you mean, since there is only ever one event at a given time, and you can only use the event-specific items that give you the exp bonus (such as the "Pie of Misrule" for the Jester's Festival) during the event it belongs to. So no, those bonuses don't stack.

    Hope this helps :)

If you use the Pie of misrule and log off until the Anniversary? You would have both right?

I think i read that people did that last year or something.

True, I didn't think about that. You wouldn't even have to log out for days, just use it one last time, before the festival ends and then use the cake right away when the Anniversary event starts, and then you should have a double buff for two hours. But it would, of course, only work for those two hours then, afterwards, you'd be back to only being able to have one buff active at a time. Still, good to know.

    Short answer: no.

Long answer: they are all the same bonus with a different name. If you have an existing event bonus, let's say New Life -- when you login now and use the Pie of Misrule, it will actually refresh the existing bonus (New Life) rather than replace it. When the timer eventually does run out and you use the Pie, it will then show up under the proper name.

Yes, they have made some changes to the way event buffs work from 3 years ago. @Tatanko has the right explanation here. You cannot stack event bonuses, but you can refresh an old bonus (without applying the new one) or let the old one run out and then apply the new one. Either way, you can't have more than one event's buff active at the same time.

What *does* stack is an event XP buff with either XP scrolls or an ambrosia potion. You could use the 100% XP buff from Jester's/Anniversary/Witchmother's/New Life together with a 50%, 100%, or 150% XP scroll or potion for a bonus up to 250% XP (260% with ESO+).

Noone is going to be able to prove anything to you until the event swaps over (barring someone having a video from last year). But it's not really a matter of opinion either. Tatanko described exactly what I saw last year: the buffs do not stack, you will just refresh the existing buff. I can't comment on what might have happened 3 or more years ago.

Event Bonuses Do Not Stack. This is not an Opinion, this is the way it works. @Tatanko explained it exactly how it works.

Every event, I top up my Alts with Event Exp Boosters so when they run through their Crafting Writs, they pull Double Exp. Since I don't do Writs every day, I have some characters that do not use up their boost. But, when I reapply it each event, I still only get a Refresh of the existing Doubling, not a Stack of Event Boosts.

Now, what does stack is other sources of Boost. You can use a Crown Scroll or Ambrosia based Exp Booster with the Event Boost. And, no you can't stack Ambrosia and a Scroll Boost either. And, you can add in ESO Plus, Rings of Mara and Duo Grouping to that.

In other Words, the max additive boost is 280%, Crown Grand Scroll (150%) and Event Boost (100%) and 10% each for Plus, Mara and Duo.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Does the boost also apply to alliance points in Cyro. Pretty sure it used to but nothing on the event info mentions this

No. Only the Midyear Mayhem event increases AP beyond normal bonuses (low pop, etc)

They don't stack. I've tried this with the Halloween event and New Life event this year. It just refreshes the old buff. But scrolls and such stack on top of the event buff.

Correct, but you still get the XP bonus in Cyrodiil for those experience-based activities.

And just for completeness, crafting inspiration is separate from both XP and AP, and isn't boosted by anything but Orc-ness as far as I can remember. However, doing the crafting writs does get you XP as well as inspiration.

I believe the XP bonus for MM is specifically for player kills (PvP), whereas the AP bonus is for all sources of AP. Just for further clarification :)

There is a CP passive to boost inspiration by 20%, as well as the 10% from ESO+.
