I wrote them a poem to sum up our feelings on the matter.

As you can see, our feelings about lag are pretty simple but inflexible.

I come home from work at about 5 in evening, then have to make dinner and spend some time with family. At about 7 I get free and time for me to log in and get some PvP action, specially the different build testing in open world (NoCP) PvP. So it takes me about 10 minutes logging on to different characters, feeding horse and some random stuff, and then I go into Cyro. Here is what happens when I'm there-

1. I open the map and try to find where fight is happening or most likely to happen.
2. I make my way to there and try to intercept incoming enemy players on route to the fight location. Keep it in mind I'm no where close to the actual fight location.
3. I find some players and start the action but then even at that remote location, FREAKING LAG HITS ME AND MY PING GOES ABOVE 150. SKILLS DONT FIRE AT ALL OR WITH SO MUCH DELAY, IT BECOMES SUCH A CRITSHOW, and then 5min later screaming on top of my voice, I leave Cyro and do some BGs. And by 8-8:30 it's over.

The game which is supposed to be fun for me, had made me quit in 1 hour of gameplay and then I end up on Netflix.

So at this point, I really dont care if they *** up LA/HA or whatever the crap is planned, but for the sake of sheo, please fix the game and lag. I've a very good system and very good internet connection, so its definitely not on my end specially when I'm only 3hours away from servers.

Lags before you launch the game, at least I don't have 2 mins load screens when porting, I can port to a keep and be back in game in like 5 seconds

One would think that a game built upon Players being *online and *actively participating in content would focus on CONNECTION problems on the server end of things.

I could give a rip about most of the enrichments they are proposing while they ignore the simple matter of upgrading hardware to the point it can handle load.

It happens SOOO often now that you are in a BG and just for no reason you spike to 999+ ping, hang there and d/c. Happens so regular. Has nothing to do with the PC - happens both on the Top End one I build 2 months ago and the one thats 2 years old.

FIX THE LAG PROBLEMS - Like Many Others - They got WORSE when you did PERFORMANCE enhancements?!?!?!?!?!

Dude 3 am battlegrounds feel like weekend afternoon cyrodil campaigns. I know this has been said a million times, but damn this is hard to find the right words to describe this 2 month lasting lagfest situation for a well established mmo that's been going on for 6 years...

Having a 4vs4vs4 player environment that LAGS AS HELL is BAD BAD BAD. On the verge of quitting this game after 5+ years playing since the current situation is NOT sustainable in any possible way

I was gonna buy another notable house but it lagged out so much while I was using target dummy on my primary residence. I logged out and went to Animal Crossing. Then instead of showing up to ESO raid, I logged on to FF14 instead to do raids from their working party finder. This constant back and forth with the lag and performance problems is really getting me to spend money on other games instead.

you shouldnt get close to other players anyway! this is just a precaution implemented by cos so players keep their distance due to covid-19....

What everyone has said here. Its frustrating, in BG I get stuck in heavy attack animation, skills NOT firing off, after pressing the skill button for 10000 times. Using pots? Forget it, it won't fire off when you need it, only when you're on the brink of death, so congrats, now you're not only dead but wasted a potion. And it's just as bad in pve area. I can't even practice on a dummy cause either my skills are not firing off with a lag or my LA won't fire. Lag is just everywhere I go, even in remote places. Ping spiking up abnormally high. Its becoming really difficult to find enjoyment at this rate in this game...

And I just game back from my break from eso. Good grief.

I sometimes log in these days when there are events. I installed again during eso+ event to look in to summerset.

it is the 4th week of long loading screens and nothing is done to fix it - guess it isn't worth for ZOS to do it. i guess then they are not worth for me to further buy ESO+, but have a break of a year or two when it will run out - this is just not enjoyable anymore. And for those hoping for performance gain - do you seriously believe in that despite the evidence that they cannot even fix long loading screens within 4 weeks? Currently not even PvE is enjoyable with several characters anymore and ZOS is doing nothing. Gina said they are looking into it, [snip] it isn't worth to further buy ESO+ or even play the game - it is just a mess.

Performance wasn't rosy before, but with the recent influx of new players, it is just sad. Doing pledge dungeons is near impossible at times. Was in Unhallowed Grave and couldn't even grapple without dying. Even an old dungeon like Arx Corinium, ping was sitting at +999. Left dungeon, ping 70. Re-entered dungeon, ping +999. Did a quick Internet speed test to servers in TX while in dungeon. Latency 38 ms. It's getting so anywhere there's a hot spot of user focused activity, there's bad lag. Too many users...not enough capacity. Unfortunately, I'm not feeling hopeful for improvement.
