We need testing and training arenas. Not wild changes

We need testing arenas for all roles. What I mean by this is to give an arena that teaches dps, healers and tanks how to perform their jobs correctly. Then maybe we won’t have this issue with people not knowing how to play this game. Don’t make wild changes because your casual player sucks, they won’t get better by a buff or extreme changes. They need to learn how the combat system works to get better. I’m sure I’ll get roasted for posting this but it’s better than the extreme changes we have had to deal with In the past and the current idea on the table. Make an investment for your players then we won’t have issue or at least the excuse of a skill gap. Go learn and get better like the vet players who have. And honestly we have so many other things that need attention before this could be implemented, but zos shouldn’t even be thinking of changing a core mechanic (especially with the performance issues we still have) because some newer players don’t want to learn.

Also give healers and tanks a vma of their own. With a title like flawless. Got a good healer? grand mender. Got a tough as nails tank? immortal protector. You know, something cool to work for.

How will we teach DPS to do their job properly? I used to solo queue as a tank to help the GF but I stopped because to often the DPS was sorely lacking. I am not even talking about weaving basic attacks. They lacked basic fundamentals and all to often I saw this pitiful DPS.

Also, for those who can weave, and it is not that hard, weaving a medium and heavy attack is much easier than a light attack. After all, there was a smaller divide between average and top DPS back when medium and heavy attacks did more damage than light.

The issue is that sustain is linked to the LA which does require a high degree of skill level to reliably and consistently hit it when desired.

That would be very cool. Player be the tank with npc DPS and you have to keep the enemies off them and keep them alive/heal has to heal the npcs and keep them alive, I dont even play tank or heal but that seems like a lot of fun

I would love this since I only play healer.
But I don't know how they can make it tbh.

I’m not sure how they could make these changes but I think it would be a positive change and a good investment for the developers.
