What does the Golden Vendor offer this week?
The Adhazabi Aba-daro is a special ESO vendor that only appears on the weekend to offer a random selection of gold jewelry (2 from dungeons and two from zone items sets), two monster set helms or shoulders (pledge dungeons).
  1. Sunderflame Necklace – Robust 250,000g / 500,000AP
  2. Necklace of Nikulas – Healthy 250,000g / 500,000AP
  3. Necklace of the Hatchling’s Shell – Healthy 150,000g / 300,000AP*
  4. Fiord’s Necklace – Robust 150,000g / 300,000AP*
  5. Maw of the Infernal’s Helm – Infused / Impenetrable (Light, Medium, Heavy) 100,000g / 200,000AP
  6. Domihaus Helm – Infused / Impenetrable (Light, Medium, Heavy) 100,000g / 200,000AP
*Tradeable

    LOL. The Fjord 5-piece speed bonus (which is all anyone cares about) is static. It is 15% at any level and any quality. Even if you love Fjord's Legacy, buying it at gold quality is a waste.

    Unless you want to transmute the traits to Swift, where gold quality makes a significant difference...

    Everyone looking at Domihaus - just keep in mind that the damage dealt is ON the ring. Not within the ring. On the ring. Yeah, its maybe a little confusing, but its working as intended.

    Also, it's not as good for sorcerers as it used to be due to the Daedric Prey nerf.

    You're fine running Maw if you choose to. My friend still uses it on his Zoo build and he's completed a lot of hard content with it.

    If you are doing the pet sorc build with a heavy attack as part of your rotation, resources are generally not a problem, so you can use blue health+magicka food. That gives enough health where the 1-piece bonus of Maw becomes a bit of a waste. Zaan is great if you can stay in melee range and it is not one of those bosses that Zaan refuses to hit (I think large bosses where center of hit box is further from you than range of Zaan) . Ilambris is not bad if you have an infused fire glyph and boss tends to stay in place. But two 1-piece spell crit, such as 1 Zaan and 1 Slimecraw, is a very good all-purpose build. Your pets inherit spell crit and with Shadow being best DPS mundus, and MagSorc not having much intrinsic crit, the extra 6% or so crit from two pieces is nice. If your crit goes from 60% to 66%, that is 10% higher "uptime" on the Shadow.

    Much appreciated, as this monster set is very good for the 1 pcs bonus, if you don't like proc sets and you are using 2 different monster sets or 1 monster set + arena weapon set - so some one will find use for it.

    ... Except.... this helemt was already 2 or 3 times available in the past at gold vendor... :| Chances are most people have it already.... (For me, another wasted weekend tbh).
    Will we ever see something newer ? ? ? Something that has not appeared yet in the past ? ? ? Luxury Furniture gets something new every week...

    It is not RNG based. I am 110% sure of that. Too many times we had a weird item drop "coincidences" that were getting nerfed next patch (Viper, Earthgore, Iceheart etc.)

    If it really was RNG based, then chances of getting base game monster set pcs and DLC monster set pcs will be more or less equal at this point as we are getting more & more DLC dungeons. But that is not the case. This week we got a crappy DLC monster helemt that most of people own anyway as it was already available 2 or 3 times in the past at gold vendor. Old set like Stonekeeper helemt or Grundwulf were never available, despite being old & niche too.

    In my time playing, I have bought from the vendor:
    Molag Kena helm
    Velidreth helm
    Balorgh helm
    Domihaus helm
    Earthgore

    Pretty sure I saw Lord Warden and Chudan but didnt buy them, no tank or heal at the time
