No. I was kinda hyped, but this euphoria is over.

I don't like PUGs, so tried one of the new dungeons solo, failed already in the second chamber.
While many praise this dungeon (guess for gameplay), I found it pretty boring concerning the visual experience. A rock cave. Just that. Watched a full video of it, hoping there would be more, but no, just a rock cave.

And "Skyrim"?
It will be Solitude and the swamp below.
The rest, the main part will be - a cave.

I loved to explore the endless landscapes in Skyrim, especially in VR, but it seems I will be pretty disappointed to buy the new chapter expecting I could do the same in greymoor.

So no, no pre-purchase.
Will wait for first gameplay videos to decide if I will buy it shortly after release, or prefer to wait a few more months.
I have been too often frustrated by this game lately to buy something in advance.

Mainly because there is absolutely no need to pre-purchase it now. I’ll get exactly the same benefits if I buy it on the last possible day.

Additionally, the pre-purchase benefits don’t look great. Another horse I won’t ride, some scrolls and a costume I’ll never wear.

I am also not fanboying out about Skyrim, more thinking what a disappointment Elsweyr was, so I’m not that excited about it anyway.

However, I am mightily impressed with the work on the Unhallowed Grave dungeon. If Greymoor is anything like as inventive and fun, it’s going to be fantastic.

As long as I pre order before I release I get the items right? So even if I pre order a day before release the bonuses are still obtainable?

Yeah, it would be preferable if we got a token for a mount, costume and pet of our choice, rather than having to take whatever we are given, every time.

Especially if they added some new ones, and brought back some old ones, to choose from.

If I'd consider preordering, I'd install PTS and try it before opening my wallet. I generally preorder or purchase in full release price nothing I have not tried either beta or demo.

(Assuming ZoS actually wants people to test their stuff before releasing it. I had no Elsweyr PTS access so I got it from sale.)

I can not decide which version I should buy. The collectors edition just contains nothing I am closely interested in. The only thing interesting me is the Orb of Magnus, hoping it hides vampirism.

But we have not recieved a clear answer whether it does this or not. So likely I will pass.

I want really new content, not few quests and dungeons. And with such terrible perfomance and class balance i see no reason to buy it, until ZOS fix all this mess. Which will never happen, i am afraid.

Well I did do a steam refund but because I bought a more expensive option instead of the upgrade so after it was refunded I bought the collectors upgrade instead soon after. I am looking forward to Greymoor.

Yeah I per-ordered. My refund was processed yesterday. Should get my money back in 3-10 days. My toon just doesn't play the way it did in Update 24. Update 25 is just a buggy mess. Further the intentional things added with respect to the changes in block are WORSE than bugs.

I've lost faith in the direction combat is going in the game. Yeah, I'm getting my money back. Yeah I also unsubbed. Solitude aint enough. I'm not enthused.

I preordered cheapest version, not interested in mount and other stuff of more expensive editions. I considered buying physical collectors edition right after announcement, but the statue is too ugly in my opinion, and paying more to get to play later then everyone else is not good idea- if I do so, I will get to play Greymoor a week or even two after everyone else- you need code from the box to get chapter, and people start playing week earlier as early acess, and then waiting for a week for box to arrive, since they ship it on launch day but not earlier. I just dont feel like spending money on this game now.

Why would i waste 40-50$ on a digital upgrade (it's like 5 copies of Witcher 3 or two Sekiro, right? lol) that might just bring even more grief for a nb main and game overall without seeing pts while i can decide on release day and buy the key with all the preorder bonuses for like ~15-20$ again.

Same, didn't pre-order yet because I don't know if I want the Sword Thane style or not. Currently leaning to no.

But there's still a lot of time, will probably wait for Greymoor to hit PTS to make a decision.

No. Why in the world would I preorder something I know pretty much nothing about? I'll "preorder" it while it's downloading on patch day. ZOS will get my money when I'm positive they aren't messing around too much with the game before the chapter hits.

No new combat system. I like the idea of a housing bonuses and all, but its not a strong enough of a draw like Warden, Necromancer, or Jewelcrafting + Psijic skills. The Vampire thing is a global change, isn't it?

Even if the vampire changes are really good, I won't give them money. See what happened to werewolf. If I pay for improvements to something, I expect them to stay. I don't trust the changes to hold, so I won't be buying the chapter.
