About dungeons and rewards

After completing a dungeon can I get a mount as a reward? I've been thinking about doing dungeons and all that stuff and I was wondering if I can get something better than green and blue gear.

The colour of the gear shouldn't be your driver. You can easily upgrade anything except jewellery, since upgrade materials for those are quite a bit more expensive than for armour and weapons. But certain dungeons have some of the best 5-piece sets and 2-piece (helmet and shoulders) monster sets in the game. In some dungeons, getting certain harder achievements in has rewarded cosmetics such as skins. You can also get motif pieces from the last boss in some dungeons, with the drop rate depending on the difficulty setting (normal, veteran, veteran hard mode).

The only mount I'm aware of that you can earn through group content is in Sunspire, a 12-person trial, and you need to earn the hardest possible achevement there, so it's not for everyone.

Does this mean that I can upgrade an armor that I crafted at level 5 and it can be better than my lvl 50 armor?

No. The level of your armor will scale in response to your level, so the more you outlevel it, the worst it gets. If the levels are close to each other, it is possibly that a higher quality item of lower level can outdo the higher level item -- i.e. maybe a gold level 35 item vs a blue level 37 item. But that's it, and it's not recommended you put a lot of money into upgrading low level items. CP 160 is the maximum level for all gear, so once you hit that is when you really wanna invest.

Trials are 12-man content, as opposed to being laid out for 4 people like dungeons and most arenas.

Aside from purple gear, veteran dungeons also drop monster helmets on the last boss, which are part of a 2-piece item set. Other than the gear, it's pretty much all character customisation cosmetics (whether all you need to do is set foot into the dungeon or complete difficult achievements varies).

I should try those things once I reach CP.
About those monsters sets, should I sell them in a guild or should I keep them?

They are definitely fun! It's very good not to shy away from trials (I wish I had started earlier), but do make sure you've got a good grasp on the game and your character. 11 other people will depend on you to do your best. ;) I wouldn't go into a normal trial before hitting that 160 CP gear cap for example, and having matching level gear. But as I didn't start that early myself, I honestly am not sure if that is still too early or not. Heck, maybe someone will say you can try before that -- I lack the experience for proper judgement.

As for monster sets, you won't be able to sell them. Any gear dropped in dungeons cannot be sold. For 2 hours after dropping it, you have time to trade with the group you ran the dungeon with, and after that it is permanently bound to your account (but never to a specific character).

You can get purple gear as well. You can get some of the best sets in the entire game. You can get some cosmetics and I do think there is even a mount or two but they are super, super hard to do. I think they are tied behind stuff like Vet HM, deathless speedrun in the hardest dungeon.

There are pets, skins, body markings and acessories. Mounts however, there are none. There's the Sunspire Ice Fire Senche, but that's from a trial, not a dungeon.

I love the notion that there’s someone already moaning about the quality of dungeon loot who isn’t quite sure what a trial is.

I think you may have peaked a little too early there dude.

If all you’re after is a flash mount and cosmetics, you’d be better off looting the Crown Store. Just avoid those Crown crates.

Is this some sort of a pun or it should affect me in any way?
