I bar swap during block and I lose block eventhough I'm holding L2. I actually have to hit block again after barswap during combat at times just to get block back up.
Is this intended or is this a bug?

Curious_Death✭✭✭✭✭idk who's that idea but he's totally dumb! with our "performance" ... swapping bar and holding block.. now delay block for 2 sec? (yes, thats the time ur "megaserver" require to allows me to block again...)
in game that block is only defence in most actions and prevent CC this is ANOTHER ARROW in ESO'S knee ! well done devs! well done!

This might be an attempt to minimize insta-kill combos in PvP. Where a dk would heavy attack into a dizzying swing then bash, all in about a second. This way bash is reserved as a bash, not some extra way to sneak in damage. But This is just pure conjecture.1 -

yeah this is how it works now, the client is actually waiting for confirmation of the server that the blocking state is registered. And with high latency this feels absolutely weird
ZOS explained it in a video, but they considered just a round trip of messages of about 200ms or less. There it is hardly noticeable, but with high latency this is crap and not responsive at all.Edited by Lysette on March 19, 2020 9:09AM1 -

Will be weird because you see the block going up 800+ ms after you pressed the button then, even the block is up about 400ms after you pressed the button - but you won't be able to bash until you see the block going up.
