    This looks like what was happening on PC two patches ago. The patch we got two days ago (16th march) seems to have sorted it out. Hang in there.

    ha! you think that'll help? we've had this issue for years, we where born in it, our souls hardened by it, we still haven't seen lag free cyrodill. you pc players are only begining to see what we've dealt with for years

    I have played a bg yesterday on PC EU and its NOT significantly better.
    Also a new thing: In relic hunter the notification that a relic got stolen or captured was delayed by like 20 seconds.

    Just dont try to argue that performance "is better". Its not even close to enjoyable.

    I remember how it used to be, and its so horrible right now, that I cannot play and have fun.

    Keep tellin ya'll best unslot those skills with secondary effects cause all of them are bugged and will do the same exact behavior (esp. after block, roll, or a channel). I don't even want to tank anymore, and I loved tanking.

    When theres any kind of pop on PC/NA its still just as bad as op vid.

    You don't see the fact that he pushed skills and waited over 3/4 seconds for them to cast? You don't see that every skill he used seemed to happen all at once at the end because it took them that long to communicate the damage to the NPCs? He was literally hunched over casting a single skill cast for 25% of the video... I get the feeling you don't understand the core mechanics in the combat here. The skill he casted should go off in a second or two, not stand there waiting for 4-5 seconds. Go pve and use the skill he used, it casts and then happens, not shows a cast animation forever. Every skill he used did this. It's worse when fighting players, but this video shows that it happens even when you're not around a single other player

    However, I will say that I'm sick of the "new" PvE stuck in combat bug, even after the update today. Kill mobs, no loot prompt. Can't weapon swap, nothing. Run to the next group of mobs, kill them, hope the loot prompt comes up, if it does (maybe half the time), I can go back and loot the previous mobs. And sometimes, my skills and even LA/HA are disabled, all I can do is run around until I die.

    All since Update 25. Never happened in PvE for me before.

    Please refer to my explanation directly above this comment. The point was to show how the desync is so bad you can't even fight NPCs in the PvP zone now

    Some people just like to make comments like the one you had to respond to here. They like to play the ,"everyone else is being so unreasonable and I'm the only one thinking logically" card any chance they get on the forums. That's ok, some people push for change, others simply live with the issues and say nothing. They might miss the fact that if the community does not speak up, the issue will not even be brought to ZoS's attention. It's okay to discuss the issues affecting our gameplay, and we deserve a response from ZOS.

    I can't even fight NPCs in the PvE zones. Haven't been to Cyro since the update, maybe I should go see how fun THAT is.

    PC PvP in a nutshell right now:

    I hop on to pvp, 1-2 bars of each faction. It's so laggy I can't participate in fights. I go into bgs.

    I hop into pvp later, 0-1 bars of each faction. The game(mostly) works! However, the population is so low it's hard to find fights or people doing anything. Regardless of time, I either can't fight or there are no fights.

    Zenimax posted in July their road map for performance updates and players have been shockingly patient considering their timeline for real improvements was 8 months out. However, the real improvements got pushed back into quarter 3 and 4 of this year, so it will be A YEAR from their original road map post. Nobody expected Harrowstorm to fix everything, but they AT least expected it to not get worse, but that's what happened. More desyncs, more skill delay, more non-functioning and buggy skills(incap). No fix to the currently buggy skills(leap). Still the same animation bugs(riding under your mount, weapon at your feet).


    If this is the response the community is going to expect this year which is nothing at all for a month and then fixes that actually make the game even more unplayable... then bring the actual performance updates so that it can kill this game for good and the players that have been playing this game for years can finally close the door on what was one of the most promising games ever.
