Like these insane stutters - which the last fix introduced. I really hope they will be gone today.

With performance matters with ESO, there is no hype. The issues are real. For years, we have been enduring blue screen crashes, game freezes, weapon skills delay and misfirings, lagging and stuttering, long loading screen and others. Still, you endure it because.. ESO is still a good game, otherwise. Despite the issues, the devs have put in a lot of work to ESO and continue to expand it with new DLCs and chapters.

Despite the frustrations, I play on because I still enjoy frolicking around Tamriel with new toons and just messing around killing time. However, yeah, still getting blue screen crashes now and then. Heck, 2-3 times just in the character loading screen here and there. Lagging is still there, weapon dragging under the feet is still there, etc. Oh man, Cyrodiil is still a mess with loading screens popping up, and seems more often with the new patch. I have been experiencing skills misfiring or lagged even more this past week as well.

Well, all aren't so bad. Graphic, sceneries and appearance of characters still look good. I haven't crash once yet (so far, ha ha) with porting into Gold Coast's Anvil wayshrine or from CWC's Brass Fortress wayshrine, which previously, my game crashed practically every time I port into or from these wayshrines. Also, picking nodes seem to be faster since the new patch. Ha ha

Am I "hyped"? No, I suppose I'm more indifferent, but not for any negative reasons. I wasn't having the sorts of performance issues that others have reported, and the specific crashes that I was getting after the initial release of U25 were already fixed by the Monday patch the following week.

    This.

This "fix" has been an abysmal failure so far.

Magic 8 ball is dubious as to whether they can fix it at all at this point

I'll believe it when I see it. so far, their quest to improve performance is not particularly impressive.

And yes, many of us still play this game. Paying customers have the right to complain about a faulty product and expect better. It's also still one of the best MMO's out there at this current time.

No, because update 25 should never have gone live with its numerous known combat breaking bugs. They don't get my excitement without earning it. Also, I have a sneaking suspicion that they don't understand what the problems are and therefore will not fix the actual issues.

I think the real question everyone wants to know is the delay really fixed ?? So we can come back and enjoy the game.

If you're sprinting , you cannot block lol...so much for fixes
    Edited.
How did they not find this or notice it. Took me under one minute after logging on. Bascically to block you have to BLOCK CANCEL A LIGHT ATTACK, lol bash or something to block should you start sprinting and suddenly need to block something .

I'm hopeful for the fix but I'm not counting on it. The wording I heard included "should" which does not convey complete confidence, and "help with" which does not mean fix. Not to say they analyze what they say to that level, but its common verbiage used when resolving tech issues that are not obvious

They kinda ruined animation cancelling, no performance "improvement" or let's call it performance illusion will fix that.

In an effort to address recent input delays and desyncs when casting abilities, we have optimized how messages (how the server/client communicate with each other) are sent.

Exactly this. No other change, including DC to menu or "lag" improvements will offset this change and bring people back. Revert this single change and most will return and even endure the lag and DC.

If you are new to the game then you will believe. But, those that have been around for a while know full well not to get their hopes up. Too many times ZOS has introduced performance fixes that did nothing or just created more problems especially to features of their game that were working just fine before the performance fix.

In fact, now the game crashes when I try to log in with a character...
I submit the log but I hope they will resolve it soon!

So when will the fix come to console? oh another 3 months? While pc get fixes every week.

This is not something what would be ZOS's fault - but due to policies from Sony and Microsoft - blame them or just buy a real computer.

    You know you're wrong, right?

After getting back from work today, I saw the patch notes.
So I logged in, fed the horses without incident, then went to Cyro. Disconnected in 3 minutes flat.

Can't say I was disappointed - the patch performs exactly as expected

Guys, we should all realize that the game is NEVER going to be fixed, no matter how many "performance improvement plans" they release. Game servers will be up with the same issues till it stops bringing back profit and the company decides to shut them down.

They dont want to fix it, they dont care, they cant. Cant tell what the reason is. Personally, I am 100% sure that the game and especially Cyro will never improve. What makes me so certain? The latest failure of a patch ofc. The one that was supposed to end all problems but instead kept the game in the same -if not worse- state.

Nope. Don't believe in father christmas or the tooth fairy anymore either. I just play the game as best I can and ignore all the false promises they continue to spout at ZoS. If you have no expectations, you can't get disappointed. I climbed off that rollercoaster after the "miracle" huge redownload....
Oh wait.. has it already happened? :D
