On a modern router opening ports shouldn't really make much difference. I was going to do this, but after reading found that it won't have much/any impact if you have a reasonably modern router.
I thought the same thing until I played modern warfare and it told me my nat was strict and that was with a 2019 modem with upnp. I can only say what I have experienced, and that is with those steps, plus the update my gameplay is better, not perfect, but better.Edited by TheFM on March 17, 2020 2:41PM0 -

Ahtu✭✭✭✭Performance is much worse than it used to be. New crashes have been introduced in certain areas (Bloodmayne front door) that are replicable where the game freezes for multiple people. I say this in the Hope's that ZOS can fix these new issues introduced with the performance improvement plan and am hoping they can turn this around by the time the plan is complete.2

Still some frames that seems off - I’m getting glimpses of something that aren’t the surroundings, but it happens so fast I can’t figure out what it is
Skills seems to work
I haven’t set foot in Cyrodiil. Mostly because the new non-cp aren’t alliance locked and it’s pretty clear that something’s going on0 -

Game is absolutely 100% unplayable. If you can't rely on skills to fire to combo, you cannot play unless you're in a 24 man group and have literally no concept of what is happening with your skills anyhow. Game broken, not fixed.9 -

I made exceptions for eso64.exe for my firewall, and opened the recommended ports, dunno if that helps at all.
Think that's weird for PC? Playing on PS4, which means we're all playing on one of only two possible hardware configurations, and yet everyone in PvP groups is reporting totally different experiences. For some the game crashes twice an hour, for some no crashing but lots of lag and skill delays, and a lucky few having no problems with anything.0 -

✭✭It seems good/fine to me. IDK? Only thing I did yesterday was mages guild quest, writs and run through maelstrom. PvP always runs poopy for me so I’ll probably not be able to tell if it’s good better or even worse.
A lot of what I do is run around questing, and that works fine. Maybe today I’ll try some 4 person dungeons and BG’s. I hadn’t had any problems with them, so they’ll probably also be fine? Well find out later.1 -

On monday everything was fine, but today it is simply unplayable, as soon as I entered Cyrodiil it immediately crashed for me, a bit later my abilities simply stopped being activated, although the resources were used on them and the animation was simply absent.0 -

iiRenity✭✭✭Skills aren't activating immediately in some cases. The ping is absolutely through the roof in PVE zones, which is completely unnecessary. I experienced a ping spike of 400-999+ in Stros M'Kai, a beginner zone that is predominately empty. Attempting dragons, dolmens, world bosses, and dungeons are completely impossible at this moment in time. I tried playing three times today, two in quiet PVE zones, once in a dungeon. I was eventually booted each time because they game was pinging so high and stuttering.
