Do weapon skill DOT ticks proc bleed from axes?

For example, could Blade Cloak and Carve proc bleed with their DOTs?

Also, if they can, then I have a follow-up question: Do they still proc bleed from their DOTs when you swap bars (For example, if I use Blade Cloak, and swap to my two-handed bar, will Blade Cloak's DOT still proc the dual wield axe bleed)?

Ticks of DoTs arent considered melee damage so they dont proc bleed.

Pretty sure that no, because it specifically says "when you have an axe equiped", in a similar way that if you heavy attack with ice staff, but swap bar before it hits, you get no taunt. But it does proc enchantments.

Edit: then again, it is zos, no consistency in mechanics, so who knows.

Hmm... Well, hopefully someone else can confirm that then.
But either way, the answer to the first question is "Yes" then, right?
