Highlight of the last comment made on the ESO live stream tonight about some fixes that should be coming on Monday.

    It's great to know that fixes are on their way. Just a couple of weeks too late too! But the fact that Gina does not even remember which update we are currently on is a bit... Well, you know.

    Otoh, why would you need to know the exact number? I always go with "Harrowstorm patch", or something like that. Sure, she's employed by ZOS, but I wouldn't be surprised if they also wouldn't use the version number all the time, internally.

    ^That. Not to mention there's been a patch since then and a few hotfixes, I can't exactly blame her for not knowing what number a patch was.

    Sounds pretty vague.

    Can't get much worse than it is now though, so any amount of improvement will be welcome.

    The Devs are probably working on multiple patchs all at different stages, versions, increments etc so when your office is talking about it all it can be hard to keep track of it in your head. Go easy on the communuty team tough gig.

    If you're ZOS's Community Manager speaking of upcoming fixes to what had been touted as a very important performance update that turned out to be pretty much abysmal, yeah, I would expect you to remember the number 25. Hey, but give her some props...at least she got "combat yuckiness" right. :/

    That being said, I'm still hopeful this year of performance improvements are on the right track. There are bound to be bumps and pitfalls along the way. I guess we'll see.

    Ya can't have it both ways. :) PC is the beta for consoles lol. They fix mistakes they make on us before it gets rolled out too consoles lol.

    I don't know what they said, nor do I care. It's too damn little, too damn late. PvP is a dumpster fire. Skills don't go off, CC immunity is broken, detect pots are broken, immovable pots are broken, the list goes on. You can't even hit npcs at resources. It's a farce.

    But we have a new mudcrab pet in the crown store!

    On a side note, Zen, keep up the good work. This game needs work but it's still the best MMO I have played and I have been MMOing for over 20 years.

    Not a very good update. So basically they finally acknowledge the game has a serious ongoing performance issue, and say that they're going to work on it. Then when the updates come they either do little to nothing or, with this last update, make it worse. If I recall this was supposed to be the one that would help with lower end gaming PC's and console. Q4 of 2019 and Q1 of 2020.

    So with that out of the way, why then doesn't she give a serious update instead of a quick side note in a stream? Her saying they're going to work on the bad performance that came with this update is great but I'm more concerned about the bigger picture. If this failed in such a bad way what is the next step?

    It seems like they should have made a post addressing what went wrong, why it went wrong, and what the next steps will be.

    Thats not really how that works. We get the same bugged client you do.

    Xbox NA - there is no hope for this game on pvp - Friday 12:57 am. The game is unplayable. Skills don't fire. Damage don't register. CC happens a few seconds after. So disappointed....

    I think at this point most of us want to "see" results. We've "heard" it all before.

    I'm sure "some" are appeased by empty promises and I hope your hopes are realized. For my sake.

    What are you talking about? I was just in Cyrodiil the other night, and I was able to solo resources just fine. I also helped some of the other players in my alliance take resources, and they didn't seem to have any problems hitting the NPCs, either.
    I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!
