The fan in the background isn't white noise to us, it's constant static in our ears.
Shut your mic off when you take your headset off, we have our own significant others to nag at us to empty the dishwasher.
Shut your mic off WHEN YOU NEED TO URINATE. Most bathrooms amplify sound.
Move the mic away from your mouth, mouth breathers.
In general, if you aren't actually talking, shut your mic off until you need to say something. Every time. After every thing you say, press the damn button. Common courtesy.XB1 NA
Your nerf suggestion is dumb. Learn to counter other players instead of having the game rebuilt to your ability level.9 -

✭✭✭✭✭These people either have no idea whatsoever the game placed them in Area after a BG, or they chose to join Area only to let their noise pollute the world around them.
What i mostly hear whenever I'm in voice comms are people with kids, people with spouses, or people with animals. It doesnt help if their Microphone Monitoring setting in Xbox is full blast so it transmits everything. I've always kept it as low as i could, just high enough to pick up my voice but not my mouth when im eating or drinking. ✭✭Turn off in game voice chat in options, and use discord for any voice chat you may want, problem solved.Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters. Play as well as you can but never betray the character. Doing so would make playing an mmoRPG pointless.4 -

✭✭✭✭✭Next time someone asks why this game doesn't have voice chat on PC and insists it would be awesome and ZOS should add it as a priority I'm just going to link to this topic.
Also reminding me why I bought decent headphones when I had to commute into London, and why I'm still glad I have them to use in the office sometimes. It's amazing how many people are totally oblivious to the absolute basics of common decency. ✭✭✭✭✭This one time during a trial, the group I was in took a 15-20 min break while waiting for a replacement so I decided to quickly go out and walk my dog. Locked my PC, grabbed my phone to listen to some music along the way and went out.
When we came back some of my guild mates on Discord were asking me if a bear was on the loose in my house cuz it sounded like one was eating my mic.
Turned out Discord was also active on my phone, and they heard my dog snorting and growling during our walk (my dog is a French Bulldog, and they can snore really loud)
