eovogtb16_ESO✭✭✭✭✭Sure the space saving is great. what's not great is a broken game that is unplayable due to skills not firing, lag that teleports people around, not being able to swap bars, or participate in any group content due to disconnects. But hey at least we saved a few gigs of space 😎4 -

Maybe the download server is located within the same infrastructure as the game servers and console players downloading the update were overtaxing the infrastructure there. Care to elaborate on that statement, OP?
I will try! Since I started playing this game almost 2 years ago, my ping has been a consistent 60 to 80 ms. Even when people in my guild talked about lag or pinging over 200+, I never had any issue of the sort. Now maybe it was just a coincidence, which it could have been, but yesterday I spent all evening pinging at 700-900+ ms multiple times. Never, and I mean NEVER, have I even had a ping even close to 3 digits since I first started this game. And that statement my friend, holds no exaggeration what so ever. I have nothing to gain from making such outlandish claims . All I am saying, is there was only one major thing, that we know of, that happened with ZOS yesterday, and that was the console patch. Now exactly what is one to think? Are we going to think coincidence or lean towards a theory with a concurrent track record that ties to subpar performance that has been ongoing?2 -

Because they have one server for all Regions and all Platforms, that's why PC don't get maintenance same week when Console players get Update or vice versa. Keeping the costs at low price is the ZOS way of thinking, now buy more DLC's and Chapter's. You know you are bad when you play for several hours and still haven't finished your writs on all your chars because you keep getting sidetracked!0
