Rhorlak_Wulfmare✭✭✭The real problem with nightblade is the cast time and silence on incap and bow proc travel time. Cloak is fine other than when certain skills break it when they shouldn't (bugs)
When it lags in pvp (more often than not) having cast times on a class that is supposed to be/feel intricate in the way they delivers burst feels clunky af.1 -

Recently I’ve had a lot of BGs where I’ll go maybe 15-1, 10-0, etc... on all the classes. Maybe it’s my time spot but competition doesn’t seem very tough these days, a lot of new PvPers. I agree here. I absolutely hate playing my NB the most in lag. I might be able to get away with more because someone cant hit me or counter cloak quick enough, but trying to kill quickly is out the window when it takes 3 seconds to use an instant ability, and even a .4 sec cast time makes the ability not go off at all.1 -

What's your build? I was thinking of trying clever alchemist + smuggler + zaan in 5L, then use potion reduction glyphs to bring the potion cooldown down to 30 secs so it matches the duration of smugglers, and just living without clever alchemist 100% uptime. Getting major expedition from smugglers will let me use phantasmal escape. ✭✭No, dont make cloak cost more the more you use it, this disadvantages primarily stamblades, but cloak is literally the entire class identity for mag, and stam.
Make the cost scale on max Magicka.Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters. Play as well as you can but never betray the character. Doing so would make playing an mmoRPG pointless.0 -

✭Here is my tuppence worth...
I took my pvp stamblade into Cyrodiil last night, yes, cloak was inconsistent. Sometimes I was still being hit with it on, sometimes I was invisible. And this was often at longer ranges as well, so no anti invis could have been in effect.
It made life significantly more difficult and annoying.

✭bad NBs depend on cloak, good ones survive even if they are visible. it is a difficult class, which unfortunately is often chosen by new players and i think it needs some minor buffs/rework, but cloak is fine.
Stamnbs needs particular buffs and more tools to survive outside of just cloaking away. Selfheals and more dmg that isnt so easy to just dodge away from.
And pretty much everything that Stamblades need, magblades need even more. I just turned my Khajiit magblade back into a stamblade, and that alone added ~20% to the damage I was doing. It's insane how much stronger stamina is.3
