Request: smaller boat home that "sails" to many docks

Idea:
Have the same boat at several docks in game. Each boat can preview a new boat home.
In the home, player can activate ship's wheel to select from a list of destinations. Player is then teleported to the selected dock (exits home). This gives the illusion of "travel" by boat and lets the player decide which zone the boat "is in".
It would be nice if the boat's surrounding home had a cramped industrial feel, like Broken Oar Grotto in Skyrim.

✭✭The boat as exterior door idea is in use for the Colossal Aldmeri Grotto (and the new Forgemaster Falls) already, as well as being used to access at least one sub-zone from Summerset. But in all these cases, it's two fixed ends, so the selection of the target is the new part. Since a wayshrine can take you to a home, that part doesn't seem too far from what's in existence.
But I'm a bit confused by your description of the ship home. If you want it to be logically mobile, and act like it's moored offshore, taking the longboat to dock, then the "surrounding home" part doesn't make sense, as it wouldn't be constant - unless it's open sea.0 -

Just wish that a boat in a giant bottle in Summerset wasn't the only nautical housing option.1 -

- Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
- Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).
