I've lurked a long time.
Been here checking everything out since 2013.
I Was wondering if any of you old school beta testers are still out there? I never really talk to anyone from back then. Never made any real connections with any players in the game so to speak. Just found myself part of a great testing community. It was the wild west back then and finding those bugs was a sweet endeavor.
Any old school CMs/CSRs still around? You guys were pretty awesome.
Anyhow *tiphat* Just sort of starting a conversation. Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Today I was thinking about how terrible the game once was, and how much work zos have put in to make something special. On these forums and others a lot of players wanted ESO to be taken over by better developers like Blizzard... Sounds so stupid now!#1 tip (Re)check your graphics settings periodically - especially resolution.16 -

Yeah same. Totally remember the beta forum uproars, the requests to make the game like other games. I am actually glad they stuck to their guns on a lot of stuff.5 -

✭✭✭✭✭The Beta Monkey (AKA Emperor Raisins) is still on the throne at Bearclaw Manner. Been active since beta. I have taken a 3 month and 6 month hiatus at different times, just got back from the most recent. I feel another coming on. Performance is just awful. I love this game so much, but I am not going to play a game with combat in this state. I bought a 3 month sub when I came back, but no more money until I see performance improvements. ✭✭I’m still here-ish. Tbh, I’ve probably been away from the game more than I’ve played over the past 6 years. The amount of content we have now is obviously much greater than it used to be. Sadly, the performance is opposite. I haven’t seen this much frustration since the fps debacle of 1.2.2013

BAWITDABAWSoul Shriveni logged into the beta and played for maybe 5 minutes before deciding the game was trash. immediately uninstalled and forgot the game existed til 3 or 4 years later when i actually started playing. it was really confusing to find a 4 year old letter with a monkey in it when i first checked my mail.6 -

The game seems worse than when it left beta with more and more problems with each new update.10 -
Skilledbandit08Soul ShrivenI don't know what the hell a beta monkey is but yeah I've been around since beta lol. I pre ordered the game still have my game box "gasp" a physical copy of pc game. I played for a month or so but the game was definitely un optimized and had it issues in the beginning. I quit and came back at multiple points. Sarted doing annual visits when Morrowind came out. I've really got serious into it over the last year. I love where it's made it too and hope it keeps improving.
Edit: I clearly don't post in the forums a lot, I'd forgotten all about that monkey non battle pet. Can't remember how I got half the ones I have now. Still not sure about calling myself beta monkey though 😋Edited by Skilledbandit08 on March 5, 2020 6:06AM0 -

I didn’t notice that there was a 6 year badge. Only 1533 others currently have it. Earned mine on January 13th.
In the six years since beta, I still haven’t found another game to replace ESO, for long.

I started PC NA House Nyssara on the Bethesda Forums with my EU counter part. Sadly the EU Guild shut it's doors many years ago. I won't air the dirty laundry here.
I've never left ESO. I love this game.
I'm an Early BETA Tester and have my BETA Monkey and ESO+ first year tiger gift. Thank you ZOS.
The tiger is my favorite mount and the one I ride.
I like both PvE and PvP.
Let's not forget Pizza and Lasagna. Mhmmmmm
Oh... and taking long naked walks in Cyrodiil. I nude walk for Peace. So far, it doesn't work. People are still fighting.
FYI - Those scrolls are full of *** and will make you go blind, so don't look in them.
FYI - There is no such thing as 'night capping' in a world wide MMO.FYI - There was no paid Beta. When they launched the game the Beta was over, even if you don't think it was.FYI - It's B2P not F2P. There is a difference.FYI - It doesn't take any player skill to mash keys or buttons in this game. The ones that stay alive longer have the better internet connection and speed.FYI - The game is not broken, it still works. It just has 'bugs' that need to be fixed.Balance is a "Bad" thing.
