How can we help, ZOS?

So my previous post was locked. Yes, it had a frustrated tone but the content was constructive.

Tell us, ZOS. Tell us what we can do to help you fix your game, please. You have a TON of people who would come back if this year's fixes prove fruitful. But clearly the crash experience was a bit of a step back.

SO... if you won't listen to a 20+ year experienced IT dev, talk to us.

You have no idea what kind of resources you have in your playerbase. Tap it! Let us in! Many of us have played this game for years; putting up with minor and major issues. We want to help, we CAN help.

They have had players tell them in great detail what is wrong, showed them videos and they still wont acknowledge anything players tell them 🤦🏼‍♀️ PS4NA has been busted since November, and nothing has changed!

I agree wholeheartedly with the latest reply. I love this game. The potential is there for this company to make ESO one of the best MMOs on the planet. All they have to do is have their vision, in parallel with ours. They already have a panel of superfans/top streamers who visit them once in a while at their studio to chime in on new game system suggestions. This is where Antiquities comes from.

The devs are obviously passionate about their product, but collectively, along with the players, we are in need of a way to find time to communicate in a more parallel manner. So that a little something can be added to the game once per quarter/half year. A little something that show us they listen to us a bit.

A little something in addition to the usual stuff. Something that shows you still sit down at a table and brainstorm how players feel about their experience.

I can have 10000 armor sets in my closet, but I only like 10 of them.

I can have 500 non combat pets, but I can only use 1.

I can have 200 titles, but I can only show 1.

Overall in my opinion, the project is amazing. But if I plan to spend thousands of dollars on it, there better be a little something on the side in the cash shop for me.

Keep up the good work. You got 2 more years until I chime in again.

    Use it wisely.

Ask questions, collect data, make decisions.

    Cheers
    That's it, that's all.

Ps4 NA lag and skill today. Btw we been having game crashes since NOVEMBER. Bluescreens were (semi) patched in beginning of February and we’ve have this lag and skill delay for weeks^ no update or information

I agree the the op 100% we give feed back, real information. But instead they focus on new zones and giving stream team benefits to questers. If you pay attention to pvp at all we’ve been telling you guys the problems. Hey @ZOS_BrianWheeler look at that one minute video of cyrodiil on console^^^^ pretty terrible huh

I really hate to say this, but being in the tech industry, specifically programming, we should be questioning the competence of the combat and server development team. It's 2020 and these problem should not exist. Over the past 3 years, my friends have moved on to different games simply because TESO's game performance had gotten worse.

With the latest improvement, combat feels more clunky intimidating returning players as well as the faith of current players. In addition, when lag hits now, it's far worse than it was before. Sure there are no longer crashes, which should have been resolved within the first 48 hours of the latest DLC launch.

From a managerial and sales perspective, the churn rate of losing players and sales should be alarming. We players - correction, we customers should not have to go through this quality in current day's time with other competitors like WOW or FF14. Do keep in mind, ZOS and TESO is not some indie company with a small team supporting the game. ZOS itself is company with several offices throughout the world and the brand name The Elder Scrolls has been around for over twenty years.

To fix past, present, and future problems, I suggest upper management discuss the replacement of the current development team. Yes this is a hard decision, but this is retail and if revenue is not being generated then there is no longer a product to sell.
Praying the Daedric Gods will make Cyrodiil great again.
