The updated Launcher isn't loading the News. Loading..... 5+ mins then says; Couldn't load. I haven't seen News since the update.

    I have the problem also, although I asked some of my friends and they say theirs still worked. But still I want my news back. pretty sure mine was still working after the big update, it was the sneaky little one shortly after that had something to do with adding Russian in that stuffed my news up

    Had my news missing for a few days too. Accidentally shut down the PC on Friday (usually I'm using hibernation), after rebooting news are back.

    That's odd.

    I power down (shut down) everyday, when I'm not using my PC.

    News come and go... always there when I start the launcher, but they tend to vanish after a while.

    Hi all, for anyone having problems with not seeing the newsfeed on the launcher AND using Windows 7, the instructions given in this other thread may be useful. This issue apparently started with a launcher-specific update on February 25. All it affects is the launcher's ability to read and display the xml file with all the news updates. (You should still be able to see the latest news items on the www.elderscrollsonline.com website, and launch the game normally).

    If you are using Windows 10, did you upgrade from a Windows 7 build on the same computer? Might be worth trying the same steps, otherwise call in to open a problem ticket with ZoS support.

    A reminder to everyone using Windows 7 that it is not officially supported by Microsoft anymore, never mind ZoS.

    Win7 latest version.
    This feed is also not imported for me. I use the laucher only for game update. I start the game always direct "eso64.exe". :)

    That's not actually true. If you look at the purchase pages on the ESO website today you'll see that the recommended operating system is still listed as Windows 7 :wink: !

    Your point about Windows 10 machines upgraded from Windows 7 is a fair one. The recent launcher update meant the news never loaded on my Windows 7 machine but immediately loaded when I then upgraded to Windows 10. However, the news loading on that machine has now become intermittent.
