Boss/Dungeon loot
How does this system work, is it true that every boss in the game has a unique item(s) that can be looted from them? If so, what are the chances? Because I seem to be a bit unlucky... Also, sometimes bosses never have the opportunity to loot items despite doing a considerable amount of damage to them, can someone enlighten me on this too? Thanks.

Examples of this would be in Silumm with the Boss called Sincano, because apparently he has a sword available for loot called "Raze" and at Western Overlook, the boss called Limbscather apparently has the "Limbscather Branch" available for loot.
Why is it that I cannot loot these, it's restricting me from looting any of them, they do not highlight green/yellow after death... Should I contact Customer Support with this issue, because it may affect my Boss loots in the future?
I am a level 15 and the bosses are around level 8, could this contribute to the issue? Any help will be appreciated!0 -
I haven't been able to loot a single Boss throughout ESO yet, can someone please tell me the factors that determine if a Boss can be looted?0

Yes. Enemies stop giving loot and experience once you're more than 5 levels above them.----

eruexe✭Regardless I am level 36 and I just looted my first purple today... (Around 7 hours ago) in a instanced dungeon. Then looted 4 other purples. Just lucky today I guess, before that its either gold + potions + crystals with a white to blue gear (and believe me its mostly whites).Edited by eruexe on April 18, 2014 2:25PM0 -
1. Do enough DMG to the boss
2. Boss level and yours are within 5
3. 35+ = purples
4. 45+ = Golds
