Cannot block cancel some skills anymore

So i thought block changes weren't supposed to do this, but i can't cancel a few skills like shields and overload....
Is this intended or part of this glitchy af update ?

theadriel✭✭I believe the animation of the attack goes through fully now. But you can still block cancel. Just it will be happening same time as the attack animation. It was in the patch notes. Hope I explained it correctly1

Actually, most of the AC before the patch was an illusion caused by client desync. It will just take some time to adjust to a server controlled animation of block vs client control animation. The timing of the skills was still server-side. Gilliam created a video demonstrating and explaining how the old client-side animations were out of sync with what was actually happening and how the new server-side animation worked.1 -

✭There was a problem where it would show you blocking but attacks would land. This is because you aren’t actually blocking until the server acknowledges it.
So, what WAS happening was your screen was displaying you blocking too early.
Now what is happening is your screen does not display you blocking until your block command reaches the server and the server’s acknowledgment reply arrives back to your system.
So no more intentional status desynchronization caused by you block cancelling.Xbox NA3 -
