So you could up front pay an exorbitant amount for as many riding lessons as you like, or slow down to the base rate of one lesson per day.
Honestly, the mount training should be max of 10. That takes 30 days which is still a while but acceptable. You have to wonder what the hell the person was thinking. No one in their right mind should think that taking 6 months to max your mount is an acceptable amount of time.
But you could also train multiple mounts at once, each with a different spec for a different purpose.DaveMoeDee wrote: »Honestly, the mount training should be max of 10. When the game launched, you could only train a mount 50 times. That meant you couldn't max all 3 stats. It was pretty weak because you ended up needing a fast mount for PvP and maybe a storage mount for PvE/stuff that didn't require riding.

It would be nice to have an option to train all of your mounts for your characters on any character. Maybe allow direct character swap from the in game settings menu so you don't hit so many load screens.
I’ve always liked the idea of account bound mount stats..or even more specifically, mount bound stats.

What's the different in speed between 60 and 30? Its it that much faster? Just curious. Sometimes I go days without upgrading speed and sometimes weeks because I only upgrade on my character that I'm currently playing. I'm happy with 140 inventory slots.
Yes that was common, PvP horse for Cyrodil and an storage mount for PvE.DaveMoeDee wrote: »Honestly, the mount training should be max of 10. That takes 30 days which is still a while but acceptable. An escalating cost is an interesting idea, but it can't be based on timer per day without changing the current countdown approach. Riding lessons are on 20 hour timers right now I believe. They aren't based on day. That means a more complicated criteria is needed for determining how to increase the cost of the third lesson in a row.

And I know this is insane.
ZOS can reduce the riding lessons in the crown store to 100 per 10. Because then I would without any hesitation spend at least 12$ per toon for inventory increase and speed increase to max.
Same thing if the inventory slots were only 100 crowns per 10 as well.
Almost 100% most people would take this route if the price wasn't 60$ per max category.
