Dear ZoS ... is it over?

We dont talk anymore ZoS. Its not that I havnt tried or anything im my own way. But you never say anything... Like Im not here.

I would like to think we had a working relationship. You, promises of a land of dreams and countless adventures. And me, with my pocketbook and wishful thinking.
I would like to think that we have traveled a ways in our time together, threw nerfdom and beyond. Countless struggles, and narrative always changing on your end. Mine is still the same....
I would like to think that when I have an issue, that you would come running; arms opened, and embrace me with your loving tentacles. Draw me in, and show me that yes, you are there.
I would like to think that.. After 6 years... We have some sort of understanding, and that when I come to you with an issue that seems very real to me, that its not just shrugged of and left to the dust mites to engorge themselves.

Well ZoS.. I have an issue, a problem that I have tried to tell you about in my own way. Its Murkmire . Now, I know its a bit of a learning curve, this new RNG thing that not everyone will be getting what they want. BUT, when you dont even get to be disappointed in opening 100 Strongboxes and getting nothing you wanted because you looted EXACTLY ZERO (Besides the 2 that were guaranteed) well, it makes me sad. Not as sad as seeing all the comments on the board about similar issues, and knowing that its not just me you are disappointing, but them as well.
And then we come to tech support ... NO, TURNING IT OFF AND ON DOES NOT WORK.... Its been 2 days, and many MANY hours in my life, that I am using up on your game, that you had made promises about, and.. Somewhere.. had failed. But failure is NOT the end! Oh no! Cause there is time to show us that you DO CARE, and that you ARE LISTENING.

Please, for the love of Sithis. Tell us you know of the issue.. Tell us you WANT TO HELP... Or... Continue without a word, as you carry our souls off into the void. And then we shall be done

I suggest taking a break. We all reach burnout at some point. We might try to find a reason for not enjoying the game but it really comes down to burnout.

The events are designed to keep you grinding for something you can't get. When people broke the bosses drops during an event they opened hundred of boxes a day to get next to nothing

ZoS have done all those things to me, including putting piranhas in my bath and pulling out my chest hair with pliers. Can't stop crying now. They really don't love me anymore :'(

Im at that point i stopped updates for the last 2 dlcs eother not enough content or ots just not fun anymore I've had enough build adjustments wasting my gold be ause a single skill can't just stay the same for less than 1 dlc... and the lag events with flashy dumb rewards don't entice and lastly the whole we had an entire year of no cp or vertical improvement like theres no work towards goal do the trial or dungeon get the gear... its no better than what i used to clear said trial and dungeon didnt gain any levels or new skills or powers or anything that actually did anything a whole year's worth of why bother at all... im just not having fun every time something becomes fun its nerfed broken or removed or tweaked til it's not fun and i just can't force myself to care anymore. Crown store updates aren't content dead end progression for subpar gear compared to what we already have isn't a reason to play dumb events that make the game even more unplayable aren't fun or rewarding..

Don't take the events seriously, would be my advice.

Dip in, on one char (if you feel like it), do your 3 dailies, then get out, again and go and do something you do enjoy.

If you don't get a grave stake, or a snot pet, does it really matter?

Like the others suggested above, take a break if you are burnout, I just got back after having 2 weeks break, didn't manage to get the bear pet from dailies and I'm like meh.. I don't care. Also don't take the events seriously! Heck, I'm even doing only 2 dailies because I haven't unlocked the third one since I'm doing the quests in chronological order and the murkmire quests are still a bit too far

I've played since beta and i still enjoy the game. If you don't like it then quit and find something else, not much else to it. If you feel the need to cry on the forums and write a eulogy then you clearly care more than you'd like to admit and should figure things out for yourself regardless.

ZOS is banking that this new update will fix lots of stuff. Seems like they put all their chips on black, and are hoping for the best.

I was there in the beginning and this is still my favorite game. that response is just precise though; you clearly do care about the game more than you would like to admit.

Oh man Prednisone is no fun. Have you dealt with restless leg at night yet? That'll add "spice" to an already frustrated situation via ESO lol. Yeah I think the general consensus agrees with you. That's some serious grinding and probably only compounds on stress. Like others said, a break might be best. Took a break myself a little while back after they made some "bug fixes". Don't want to burn out your enjoyment of what is supposed to be a hobby rather than a near full time job with high demands:/. Either way I feel ya and whatever caused the need for the medication, I hope it gets better!

People forget the purpose of events in any mmo. Players quickly complete the content. So they always find ways to get you back doing old content. If you can break from the mentality of needed every little reskinned thing, you'll find your self in a good mental place. Unplug for a bit
