Did anyone else NOT get the event tickets?

Yesterday before I started killing things in Murkmire I made sure I had only 2/12 tickets on my account. I spent hours in Murkmire, did dungeons, killed bosses, did daily quests, and… nothing… Eventually I did get a strongbox, but I never got the 3 tickets. Anyone else got the same issue?

As per prior experience with TESO Festivals:

When I sent Ace Greysmoke to Murkmire (previously, he earned the title "Hero of Murkmire") there was 1/12 Event Ticket in the common Currency tally.
    1. Greysmoke obtained the daily Delve quest "Grave Subject Matter" from Varos Hosidias in Lilmoth, to retrieve the ancient bones of Saxhleel who had died there in an old temple, and proceeded to the site.
    2. Greysmoke searched the temple's ruins and found Ancient Bones in 5 locations, as required by the quest.
    3. After Greysmoke returned to Varos Hosidias to submit them, he received two reward containers of "Tribal Armor", and credit for the quest. (The tally of the number of Delve dailies completed increased from 5/10 to 6/10 in the Quests > Acquiring Antiquities Achievement.
    1. Greysmoke obtained a daily quest from Bolu in Lilmoth to kill the necromancer World Boss at Bok-Xul, and proceeded to the site.
    2. Prior to the battle, Greysmoke was able to search for and recover the bones of 4 fallen warriors, as required by the quest.
    3. At least a dozen other player characters participated in the battle, and the software announced that Ace Greysmoke had killed the Boss. However, I could not obtain an Interactive Prompt loot the corpse of the dead Boss. Another player commented in Chat that his character also could not obtain any loot from the dead Boss.
    4. After Greysmoke returned to the quest-giver Bolu with news of his victory, he received two reward containers, and credit for the quest. (The tally of the number of WB dailies completed increased from 3/10 to 4/10 in the Quests > Courage of the Naga achievement.)
    5. Greysmoke returned to Bok-Xul and joined the next battle with the necromancer. Afterward, he looted a "boss" reward container from the corpse.

The tally of the number of Event Tickets after each of these two activities remained at 1/12.

FYI: I have had the experience before. As with this occasion, usually I miss the first "day" of the event, and I never receive any Event Ticket(s) which my character earns during the second "day" of the event. Perhaps this occurs because the character has participated previously in the same Festival Event(s), thus does not need to perform any "starter quest" or meet any other requirements which the character has met before. Attempting to perform the "starter quest" produces a notice that the character has already completed that quest.

Clearly, this is a bug which ZOS has not remedied, although it does spoil the fun of participating in the Event. Since when has the ZOS management ever cared about that??

You really have to loot everything you or your groupmates kill. I got my tickets very quickly on the fourth or fifth guy I killed, and judging by most everyone else's experience the chance of tickets dropping from mobs seems pretty high. It shouldn't take hours.

I'd start a ticket with Support if you haven't already.

The first day of the event (Thursday) there were so many players at the world boss that it was impossible to even see him. I kept putting down aoes and doing my rotation but I did not do enough damage to get any loot either. I think some bosses only allow 20 players or so to get the loot drop from what I’ve heard. If your tickets were tied specifically to the first boss then this might be considered a bug if this case occurs.

Luckily I had done the delve boss in the same location as the delve daily quest first (even though it’s not required for the quest). I got tickets from him.

    Which they aren't guaranteed.

However, it might help to remind Support of this Dev quote:
Hey all, just to clarify a few points on Event Tickets before the start of the event:

All three tickets drop at once (rather than one at a time.) Even though there is only a chance for them to drop, that chance is quite high for basic enemies and even higher for World & Delve Bosses. That being said, you might want to turn on auto loot before the event to make sure you're grabbing everything.

Certainly Sarah Hecker seems to indicate that it should not take hours for RNG to smile on players.

So far, Support has not replied to the message which I sent via the Support website page. In my experience, either the website has a bug(s) which prevent a "ticket" from being received and acknowledged, or someone is deleting requests to which they do not want to respond. It does not even show-up on the My Support list of submitted tickets.

I've opened a couple tickets and basically was told the ticket cooldown will reset after 20 hours and then i'll get my tickets. Its been 22 now and still NO DROP but made to feel like an imbecile thanks to support. They have YET to ask what my exact issue is just keep blaming the RNG. I cancelled my ESO Plus autorenew over it.

Same thing happening to me to today, hours of killing and looting everything in site, with zero tickets to show for it. The Event is broken and ZOS does not seem to care.

If you were in a group during the event, then allow to me explain why you didn't get your tickets, this is directly from customer support. First off, DO NOT GROUP UP BEFORE YOU GET YOUR TICKETS! If you are grouped up and a group member gets ahead, especially in Murkmire, the quests often bug out. Your friend killed and looted a boss or mob, bugged the quest by running ahead, and you had no way of completing the quest or looting that body that contained the loot. You didn't forget to loot the body, your loss was caused by a bug in the game. This is ZOS's fault, but don't expect them to correct their problem.
Customer service won't reimbursement your lost tickets even though they have been aware of the many quest bugs for years. You are expected to know better and it's your fault...basically that is what you are told. Out of three replies, I'm only posting the last one. Here is an official statement:

    Greetings!

Thank you for contacting The Elder Scrolls Online Team. My name is ******* and I will be discussing this matter with you today.

I understand you are contacting us regarding some questions on the Murkmire event and grouping.

I suggest doing things solo as, you are correct. If your friend in your group kills something and you do not loot it, you could miss out on your tickets for the day. It could be a mixture of both for you not receiving your tickets yet. You might have some bad luck in rng today, or you have already missed your tickets from a kill before.

Try going solo tomorrow and see if your luck picks up! Happy questing!

Thank you for your continued interest and support!

In my case the tickets I created don't count as anything else but 'feedback' which is annoying the crap out of me. I created 2 tickets, got 1 acknowlegement and they just stand there as 'feedback' which can't be reopened.

Frankly, I hope someone in Support passes the memo back up to the Event Dev Team like "Hey, guys, are we supposed to be telling players in an MMO not to group up because they'll lose their tickets if they do? Something seems a little off here."

Not that this problem wasn't 100% predictable after the problems with the Dragon Rise event. ZOS knew this was going to happen and did anyway.

Whoever is in charge of event ticket drops?
    Don't do this again.
Players should be able to group without losing their event rewards.

If that's the case I'm gonna get really frigging angry, because I was in a city while my group was in the middle of that stupid swamp killing things. Something like that shoudln't mess with your event ticket drops. It's a frigging MMO, not Skyrim.

During the Dragon Rise event, I used the "Ask For Help" option. It seems to take a while and always gets the "first email is a bot" type response, but I've always gotten a reply from Support using that option.

It is not even listed in the Feedback section. As far as ZOS Support is concerned, the report does not exist.
