What happens to Leader Board rank in the under-level-50 campaign if character reaches level 50?

Assume a new character is playing in the under-level-50 Cyrodiil PvP campaign and gets a score for the campaign that places the character in the top (say) 5 (or even first place). What happens if that character reaches level 50 before the campaign closes? Is the character immediately removed from the Leader Board? Is the characters score for the Leader Board maintained at its value when the character was forced to leave the campaign at level 50? When it come time for Campaign Rewards, does that character no longer qualify for the top-tier rewards? Would like to hear from players who have actual experience with this (i.e., a top scorer who reached level 50 before the end of the campaign).

Once your character reaches lvl50, two possibilities:

if you are in cyrodiil, you stay.
You will continue to gain Alliance Points, counting in leaderboard too.
- --- if you quit cyrodiil (shrine or disconnect) you will be kicked from leaderboard and wont be able to join the campaign -50 anymore.
- --- if you are emp, you stay as emperor until you quit the campaign
if you are not in cyrodiil, you cant go to the -50 campaign anymore and you will be kicked from the leaderboard

The most logical way would be to keep character there. You just won't be able to gain next points. If you will be there in the end, you gain reward as any other level.

I'm not sure exactly when you're removed from the leaderboard but you definitely are. You don't qualify for end of campaign rewards either.

I have a similar question. I had 2 characters homed to under 50, had second spot on the board, one hit cp and was payed out like end of tier rewards and lost position, meaning the second one is starting over. Is the board not spread amongst characters?
