I've got really good news for you.

They are already an account wide currency and you never need any inventory space for them and you'll never need to bank them.

Check out the Currency tab in your Inventory, there's a bunch of stuff that's account-wide, including Undaunted Keys.

Thankfully you will be pleased to know that Undaunted keys ARE account wide. They do not take up inventory space or bank space, they exist in their own inventory, which every character has access to when needed.

And while we are on the subject of irrational wishes, I’d like some way to deal with the atrocious shoulder chest RNG now that there are so many DLC dungeons.

With the powers and influence I have inside the ZOS headquarters, I've managed to talk them into implementing your wish OP. Just log in and view your currency tab on any character and you will now find all your keys.

I'm going to talk to them about the performance issues tonight, I feel I want a patch to fix the problems for about the 24th, that date would suit me quite well, I'll let you know if they agree to that later.

They should also make some kind of outfitting system where the gear you choose doesn't dictate how your char looks. That would be amazing.

It seems like noone on this forum never made a mistake in a life, everyone so eager to ridicule and laugh at others. Pure geniuses... Can you then explain why some currencies like keys are account wide (which is as it should be) and which are not, like vouchers or TV, and you need to use the bank to exchange them between alts.

Because writ vouchers & Tel Var are considered currencies, like gold or AP?
And keys are only for one thing - chests - so not a currency really?
IIRC they are not listed as such.

We've all made mistakes, I think it's just difficult to see how the OP could have possibly made this particular mistake. The game's current state would not allow a situation where keys are locked to one character or stuck in their inventory, so the OP's request seems to be coming from nowhere.

The things currently listed in my currency tab:
AP, gold, Tel Var, writ vouchers (specific to character and bankable).
Crown gems, event tickets, outfit change tokens, transmute crystals, undaunted keys: (specific to account/server).
Crowns. (Across both servers, one platform).

When did they make Undaunted Keys account wide?

I really wish they would add some kind of teleport system so we can teleport to different zones. I'm getting tired of walking zone to zone.

May be it's a returning player? Undaunted keys were, for long time, managed exactly as the OP stated. Inventory objects that could not be banked. They were converted into currency some patches ago.

For about the first year I played, I thought that wayshrines cost money in all situations -- i.e. also when travelling wayshrine to wayshrine. I was too stingy to pay for them, and I levelled my mount inventory-space first.

Did a lot of walking.
