Should Greymoor add children NPC's?

Yes, I wouldn't mind seeing children NPC's in game.
I voted yes but I think that ship has already sailed; it would be odd for kids to exist in one part of Tamriel and no where else.

    Whoopsy voted no by mistake

Sure it wont be useful but it would be great for immersion purpose as it compleatly stupid to have a world witout any children
    Only some of them
Like 3-4 in big city and 1-2 in smaller village

And maybe you could bribe them to distract the guard while you help the good citizen of tamriel getting rid of there valuable or something like that

Children are not just frivolous development, children are what makes a world seem real to many. This world is missing a major element that's needed to complete it. Even a few well placed kids playing in the streets would make a big difference.

The Skyrim kids were very annoying and I never adopted any. The only way I would want them in eso is if they were non intractable npcs.

As we all know in Elder Scrolls lore, children only seem to exist in Skyrim

    No.

Also, there were some teenagers in TES 3 Morrowind. I can remember one who wanted to become a vampire. Can't remember the name, but his father was a Redoran Council member in Ald'ruhn.

People who say it's not needed are not using their imagination. If children get added then stories they are involved in get added, which will only enrich the game and make it more immersive.

My imagination tells me that there are children anyway (otherwise, how could people reproduce?), but in times of war, cultists, dragon attacks, assassins and all those other dangerous things, they're probably locked away in their parents' homes.

I'm not against children in ESO, but I don't think it is of high importance to include them visibly. There are so many things which aren't directly shown. There aren't even enough houses for everyone to live in. No real sicknesses, no people missing arms or legs (except for some Apostles with mechanical limbs in Clockwork City), though there would be many because of the war, and everyone looks like they brush their teeth regularly and visit a dentist twice a year, even when living somewhere in the wilderness. There aren't even toilets in every home (not even a bucket in some corner). The ESO world is simplified - so, yes, use your imagination for all the things not shown.

Of course children could be included in quests, but which role could they have which could not be taken by older persons (teens, young adults) instead?

    Absolutely not.

It would give the type of person who ganks in PvP and trash talks in chat more horrible and disrespectful things to do.

    Lets not go there.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    No thanks.

I play ESO to get away from the ever-increasing number of kids around me IRL, as my peers start to have kids. (I'm in that age group...)

I don't hate kids... But let me have some space... Especially where it's already existed for years now.

It's not needed, and frankly might just annoy a not-so-insignificant number of people for no real gain.

It'd certainly help with a number of "save mah baby!" quests where said baby turns out to be an adult.

And as nuisance animals running around the cities, exactly like dogs and cats do now, it'd add character. There's no need to make them interactable or harmable.

It would help immersion, but it isn't necessary. Still, Khajiiti kittens might be cute. And we do get to see unhatched Argonians, so we kinda see their babies. Sorta.

I don't really understand this obsession with adding children to the game. It's creepy as hell.
We don't need children running around in in a war-torn, demon-infested world in order to have an immersive experience; it just isn't necessary to make a video game an allegory to the real world in every single aspect.
    Let it go.

It's not happening because of the modern "I-hate-children" mentality. Like in so many other games. Even if they would be non-targetable and immortal, people would spend time trying to do "funny things" to them, and make videos etc. of it.

I wouldn't mind if there were children, but frankly we have to much CHILDREN players (mental or actual ones), that could not handle it. So it won't happen.

I don't see children as a "necessity", but I certainly wouldn't mind seeing towns and cities feel a little more balanced as far as the population went. However, I do NOT need children so badly that I'd be willing to give up significant game performance for their presence.

This kind of poll needs a 'maybe' option so we can explain our nuanced position on the topic at hand.

In the case of kids in ESO: on one side, I want the realism that children running around town brings; on the other side, I want a smooth running game first.

To answer the OP....I'm a little conflicted. I would like to see children around, but I'm not terribly certain it's really necessary. I admit, it is a little weird to see things like mentions of children or the crib furniture, but no actual children.

At the same time, it's not a priority...and I can always use my imagination. If they are ever implemented, they would have to make sure to make them unkillable. Otherwise...well...we will be having a severe dead children problem. Also may have to make it so you can't pickpocket them either.

In a game that promotes the idea of robbing and killing innocent people as skill lines and achievements, the idea of children roaming about feels more than a little out of place.

I'd be fine with it if it wasn't for all the sick monsters in this game who would spend their time doing unsavoury things to the child NPCs whether it be killing them or otherwise interfering with them. If the world was populated by decent human beings then we could have nice things but it isn't so we can't.
