Does Ravager set work well with a set that procs a debuff like Dragon's Defilement?

Hmmm, i was actually thinking about this an hour ago when thinking of things to possibly pair with ravager.

I know this won’t answer your question but worth a thought,
honestly something like fury would be better. If you're surrounded by a bunch of people they are most likely attacking you anyways and you'll get your fury stacks really fast and its more damage once at max stacks. Also, you don't need another set just to make it work.

I just decided to match ravager with new moon and put it on my old NB. 2H front bar, sword and board back bar, heavy armor build. Back bar is setup to be fairly tanky. Piercing armor to proc ravager on back bar when on it and also get minor protection. SA to continue to stack ravager on front bar.
Hey everyone! Look! It's a signature!

Well, I've tried Ravager with Noxious Breath, which is a cone-type attack and hits multiple enemies.

However, despite the Breath hitting multiple enemies afflicting Major Fracture, Ravager only procs once.

So Breath hitting one enemy = 1 Ravager proc
Breat hitting 3 enemies at once= 1 Ravager proc
    3 Breaths hitting = 3 Ravager procs

I would think Defilement works in a similar fashion..?

I was under impression that sets cannot proc each other, but I have not explicitly tested this. There is also a 1-second cooldown on Ravager. I have a feeling that Dragon's Defilement on multiple enemies will gain you either 0 Ravager stacks (set cannot proc another set) or 1 Ravager stack (set can proc another set, but due to cooldown, not all 4 stacks at once).

Sets can proc Ravager. I run Ravager + NMG on Stamplar right now and I get nearly 90% uptime on full Ravager stacks.
