I play on PS4 so accounts are FREE but 6 accounts are subbed to eso+ at all times and besides my main that changes between the sub accounts depending on what im doing on them at the time
Retirement is fun when the games running good

On my main account my CP is 1004. The other two accounts are around 550 and 350 (don't remember exact numbers. Ain't old age grand?)

I think its 1028 last i remember, havent put a lot of though into it since they have not lifted the cap for a while, wish they would just rework the champion point system and then open it up to the max and call it a day

I have been playing 8 months now, I have CP556. My wife started at the same time as me and she has 527. Its been fun and a pain at the same time. The community really looks down on new players and people that dont have CP810. I cant count how many times we have had to re-Q for a dungeon, sometimes re-Qing 3-5 times to get a team that would stay, sometimes having people drop group before the team got to get started just because someone didnt like our CP level. This has happened in Random Normals. My fav response was when I had CP330 and someone said "Your the healer? How can you heal anything with that low CP" The tank left group without us killing a single mob. I have played the healer or some other support class in every MMO I have played for over 20 years.

I have been in leveling and social guilds. Lots of low level players come across this and leave the game in frustration of how new players and lower CP levels are treated. Any time the topic comes up I am going to point this out because new players are what keeps any MMO going. This attitude needs to change.

I was thinking the same thing. I started on the EU server with nothing and now have almost 600cp. I’ve run a lot of dungeons farming gear and xp. I’ve never encountered the behavior described here.

I have had my character for about 2-3 years I believe now. I played here and there and finally got him to 50 within the past year and than eventually 160. I went from around 190 to almost 500 in about 3 months as I have been playing more since two of my good friends from other MMOs have transition to ESO.

I probably should be 810+ since I bought and been playing on and off since ESO launched on PS4 in 2015. However, every time I hit 40ish I would start over a new character and delete my current character.

I gotten the following classes to 40sih...
Sorc
Templar
Nightblade
DragonKnight
Warden

My first character to hit 50 was a Templar as I really liked how that class played.

My second character to hit 50 was my DragonKnight I created in December or was it January. All I did was got the character to level 10 and than I ran one or two random dungeons each day and it took roughly 30 days to the character to 50.

Now I do the daily dungeons on my tank for the undaunted passives and than run my templar through content as I'm working on completing Caldwell Gold achievement.

Im on NA and I have been kicked before the team has started killing things, more times then I can count.

@Nordic__Knights Do you stream? Are you an octopus with a custom keyboard and like to populate your own 12 man's?

I thought I had it ugly with 3 NA/EU.

Do you have dedicated machines for these, or do you literally spend an hour a day just logging in? (And why so many subbed?) Also curious, how does the login time compare on PS4 vs PC? I'm assuming by the above it's gotta be faster.

Anyway, glad your retirement is a good one and you've found something you enjoy!

A more interesting side question would be hours in game to reach said CP's.
You can autopilot using the dailies and scrolls and just making sure you're burning enlightenment and gain several CP a day without having had many hours of actual playtime.

Granted, everyone that probably realizes this likely has a main with 1000's of hours to come to that realization.

Not contesting nor downing anyone or any method. More (morbidly) curious how many hours we've collectively burnt up in game.

I think they did you a favor in that case. If you were kicked from a random normal because you were only 330CP on a healer, you dodged a bullet and they saved you 3 key strokes.

@Nanfoodle sometimes people leave the group because they suck, not because the remaining members do.

And, when they ask dumb ?'s like that, remind them the content is scaled for 160/300 CP's. Then ask them why they need 810 CP's worth of healing unless their suviveability is horrible?

CP's help, but they're not the catch all. I've been in low level groups that burn it up, I've been in max level groups that couldn't kill trash mobs, and I've cleared content I've literally had to walk in the front door to access (because I was not allowed to queue for it yet).

Experience >> CP's, any day of the week.

Personally, so long as the game lets you in the front door, I at least give it to the first pull. A good group will know everything they need to at that point, no matter what CP the members are (or aren't).
