[Legion Zero Style Pages] Did you buy Event Tickets to get style pages

No - I wanted the pages but I was only willing to grind or buy from players

I have asked this question in regards to other event-specific items for purchase... but why aren’t these styles more readily available or part of a more efficient and exciting Impressario system?

I wanted the Jade Crown Dragonslayer Helm & Shoulder, but opted for getting berries during that particular event because it didn’t provide a ton of extra tickets... and then realized the next event had excess / wasted tickets that I COULD have used on those previous gear items. Grr.

I only got 5 of 7 Legion Zero pages because I wanted to make sure I went into the next event prepared because of the abysmal communication / lack of accurate roadmap - and now we realize that there will be 39 tickets available... so I COULD have used them on the last 2 pieces. Grr.

On the flip side - the upcoming Murkmire event will have soooo many tickets with nothing new to spend them on, further driving home the sloppy nature of this ticket system.

I’d grind ‘till the échelettes came home - with pleasure - but give me a reason & actual incentive!

Spent my time in BGs and Cyrodiil instead during the event.

Grinded out 6 of the style pages (and sold duplicates) by fighting Bal. Then bought the final page with event tickets that I earned in game. Had plenty of free tickets; no need to even consider the crown store.

I simply didn't buy the Indrik stuff because none of my characters could use a ghost Indrik. Too specific, too many concepts at once. I just used the tickets on pages instead and bought the remaining two emotes from guild stores.

I really like the style I grinded them and got all in 1.5 days and sold rest pages . Was fun in ic . Still have a chest for sale

I put lfg in guild chat and got into a zerg. Finished 2 quests, handed them in on 2 different days. Bought the Helmet style. Don't need to go back into pvp until I need crystals, happy days

So many tix during the event, and there wasn't much I was interested in in the Impresario's shop. Really not interested in a ghost indryk at all, so I needed something to spend them on. Didn't need to buy any with crowns.

Though one I did get in IC. I was trying to get Star-Made Knight on one of my alts so he was in the IC trying to flip a district when I randomly ended up in a group. I followed them around for a bit after we took a district and we ended up fighting the lich boss. Funny story - we'd killed him and I went to loot him, but I was there just long enough to open the inventory and see what was there before most of us got ganked by someone. I was a bit annoyed since I saw there was a style page and I didn't actually loot anything. Fortunately the corpse was still there by the time I snuck back a minute or two later so I did get the helm without buying it with tickets.

I wonder how many people who voted "yes" didn't read the question closely enough? Because the question is whether you used crowns to buy tickets to buy pages, not whether you used in-game-earned tickets to buy pages.

Seems like a lot of people who voted “Yes” might have misunderstood the question. That’s good, because anyone who buys event tickets with real money contributed to further degradation of the game’s monetization ethics

Usually I collect all event rewards with normal gameplay. I've had to buy tickets once or twice, but not often. This is the first event I decided not to gather everything.

Putting the style pages behind a boss drop is very bad design from ZOS for a PvP event. Remember it's the only PvP event in the year. If I wanted to collect the style pages it would have effectively blocked me from participating in the event. I didn't and chose to fight in the sewers vs players and in Cyrodiil.

No point trying to re-do the poll now though.
Depending on the drop rate and combined with a possible overlap with the mandatory re-download, I was curious how much event ticket buying might happen for the Murkmire event. Wanted to have a sense of how much had happened in the previous event.

Got all the berries and spent the rest on Legion Zero motifs.

I enjoyed the event much more than I expected, and think it was very successful. You might actually catch me in PvP again.

I’d never spend crowns on tickets - like the execrable gems, yet another con currency invented by ZOS to confuse players about how much they are really spending.

I dont like the "new" indrik (old ghost elk) kinda thingy

So I just spent my tickets on pages (nothing else to buy and they accumulate???)

And sold the ones I got from IC

I don't tend to stress out about the style pages, whenever I nearly had 12 tickets I would buy a style page, that's it, if there had been something more interesting to me to spend my tickets on I would have spent it on that instead.

Motifs I will buy with gold or crowns but if I can't make the items for others which is the case with style pages and have no plans to use the style myself I just don't bother with getting all the style pages.

It will be a cold day in hell that I buy an event ticket (with crowns, at least). I would rather do without a thing entirely than have to do that. Some of this game's marketing tricks push my stubborn buttons and this is one of them.

Yeah, you perfectly summed up my feelings regarding the tickets. I also saved up on tickets and didn't spend them on anything other than feathers and berries and I also missed out on Jade Crown Dragonslayer set or some nice furniture. At New Life festival I got all feathers for a new nascent indrik and now I really have more tickets than I can use. Shame we didn't get that much for Undaunted event.

I bought all bar 1 page (which I got in a drop) from the Empresserio with event tickets that I got from the dailies. Couldn't care less about the fugly indriks so usually buy whatever she is selling.
Talking of what she sells we need some nice furniture again, been nothing since the Imperial bedroom stuff.

Not interested in this style. I'm a completionist but this style is ugly imo. I'd never use it in any of my chars, main or alts.

Err, no, I just did PVP and purchased the set items I wanted with the rewarded tickets.

The motif is OK, the chest and arms are pretty nice and will likely see some use on a character(s) in future.

I didn't want the style. I might pick it up in future years when it gets to be very cheap on guild traders, but I'm not in any hurry.

Also while I wouldn't completely rule out buying event tickets if there's something I really wanted and I missed it because of my schedule or problems on my end (not like when I missed the last indrik feather in 2019 because ZOS are incapable of keeping to their own schedule and cancelled an entire event then stuck the tickets on a different one at the busiest time of the year for real-life travel and events) it's a last resort for me, something I'd only do for something I really wanted and couldn't avoid missing. Especially since the tickets are so expensive. For one or two it's not bad but the price goes up quickly if you're buying enough to get an item without any from events.
