Will anyone else try to re-download the game and log in as fast as possible? I know I will. If I'm fast enough, that will be interesting for sure. Pretty much single-player ESO experience for a few... minutes... hours? B)

Let us know how many times your game crashes in that first twenty-four hours.
    PC NA, PC EU

"Instead of taking the best of the dolmens (predictable rotation), the best of the geysers (scalability based on number of players), and the best of the dragons (map location and health indicators) and adding them together to make a fun and dynamic world event scenario, they gave us....... harrowstorms." https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/comment/6850523/#Comment_6850523

You know when the servers are down because of regular maintenance, but you keep trying to log in anyway because the maintenance is supposed to be over any second, then suddenly you're logged in and running around, and even though the world is almost empty there's already a few other players running around? It'll probably be like that. :)

Strangely enough, I don't think I've had a single crash in two years of playing ESO. At least I really don't remember any. But then again, I play on PC NA and hardly ever go to Cyrodiil, so I guess that's as stable as this game gets.

I haven't thought of it as I've never tried to log in after a maintenance as fast as possible but yeah, I guess that's pretty much what's going to happen. Still will be interesting to try though.

    It won't be me.

My internet is so slow, I reckon update 26 will be available before update 25 finishes downloading.

    That's what I do for big downloads/updates.

After one of the unexpectedly long patch maintenances (I think it was Murkmire update), a lot of people were not able to log in, and I was one of the lucky snowflakes who have logged in into an almost empty Vvardenfell.
Guess what? The game was smooth as butter, no micro freezes, the real rock solid 60 fps, and no lags/ping spikes. I thought they have really fixed something. But next day it has gotten back to its usual state.
One of the two of us definitely has gone mad. It only remains to define whether this one is the whole world or just me.

One maintenance last fall started almost 20 minutes later than announced and many players had logged out already, while the rest was asking in zone chat why they're still one. That was pretty funny and I managed to collect two missing skyshard in Imperial City enemy lands. :D

Don't forget folks that you do not uninstall the existing client before running the patch, it takes care of all that itself.

I think the only time I've logged in and found myself running around on my own it turned out to be because I was disconnected from the world  !

Yes. That is something I think many people haven't noticed.
Let's hope the process will be smooth.

Its always people just after maintenance, as in more than in the middle of the night.
But you can run into some weird stuff, I once found an dolmen who had all the enemies spawned.
It got messed up during maintenance I guess server went down while some was clearing it.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.
