Harrowstorm Dungeon Difficulty

I am wondering how the two new Harrowstorm Dungeons (Unhallowed Grave & Icereach) rank in relation to the difficulty of the ones from other DLCs.

Cheers,

Since after wolfhunter normals was more and more of a joke to be easily doable by everyone and this pack is no exception to new rule.

    Unhallowed Grave compares to vCoS

Icereach compares to a non-dlc with a Cloudrest+3 final boss

I hope they don't start just releasing stuff as easy as the original dungeons as DLC. What would be the point in the game anymore....

Having fun? Convenient group finder pugging instead of LFG begging in zone or guild chat? Completing dungeons instead of quitting because you had to go to work/school/sleep? Making new friends instead of adding more a-holes to your ignore list because of all the vote-kicks and nerd rage?

You might be suprised to find that a huge majority of the ESO player population would love to have NEW dungeons with medium difficulty like the base game dungeons. Personally, I refuse to buy any new dungeon DLC because I do not believe ZOS should be rewarded for creating bad content that most players don't want to play.

Medium difficulty is one thing, but if it's like the original dungeons. You literally can solo those. If it wasn't for some requiring at least 2 people to do a mechanic in the dungeon or something people wouldn't even group for them.

That being said though none of the DLC dungeons are to hard. People just don't want to take any time to learn them. Even going back to WoW this would happen. I think one of the new dungeons was Halls of Reflection maybe (the one where Arthas chases you). For like the first month or two people would quit and whine and complain about it's to hard and impossible to do. Yet once people barely got through it a couple times as they learned the mechanic, and which enemies to kill first etc, and yes improved their gear it became a dungeon you completed in like 10-15 minutes tops.

The same would happen here if people would just work on the dungeons. People even quit if they get put into like Fang Lair on Normal. I 3 manned Fang Lair the other day. They aren't hard, but you aren't going to go in an walk through it like FG 1 which is what people seem to want.

It all depends on the group, I have had easy vet DLC dungeon runs and difficult standard vet dungeon runs because everyone ignored the mechanics.

If everyone knows what to do you dont need BiS gear of crazy dps, the problem is that many players dont take the time to learn the mechanics. On normal you can usually just ignore the mechanics which leads them to believe that they cannot run vet dungeons.

What I find interesting is how people state this and this is EASY and this and this is HARD. The thing is though GEAR, proper attribute distribution, enchantments, proper abilities, buffs, debuffs, etc.. all impact how hard or easy content is in any MMO game.

I remember something similar in other games as well. But if you do a random without forming a group you may end up with a really bad group that isn't ready for the dungeon and what should take an hour at most may take 2-3 hours or zero completion because the random players may not be elite players chasing top end gear to run the hardest content but heard how EASY the dungeon is. That same player may also just have barely enough CP to be in the dungeon vs. the player who said it was easy and has 810 CP.

When developers create content they have to create it so that the average player can run it and enjoy just as much as the elite player. I do have to state though with ESO if you want to simply run the content and enjoy the story run normal and never go into Vet; however, most of the better achievement awards and items are in Vet.

Since the awards many players want to get are in Vet, many players not ready for the Vet dungeons Q for them and hope to get carried through the dungeon. Even if the dungeon isn't easy.

There are two dungeons in the packs so they could do one hard with better sets(overall monster one) and a easy/easier one.
